Bash Date Change Announcement

I think everyone should just relax,if you can;t make the Sept dates just show up in August and have some fun.

We spend countless dollars gambling so what if therx isn;t comping you a room for the August dates just spend your own money.

Granted it would be nice to have all the details done with so others can plan thier summer vacations as I know how stressful vacation planing can get.

That and hell the 4th of July is around the corner and school gets out next week the summer planing for most is a done deal by now.

Can we at least get an official reason why the original bash date was changed? The new bash date in September kinda sounds like a mod meeting with a few posters in attendance. Will any mods be there in August?

For all the excitement we have for this year's bash it is a shame it is going down like this.

I doubt Sept. will be a mod meeting, it should by far be the BASH with the most attendance.

you know RED I have the utmost respect for you and kermit...but nobody is perfect... so the RX dropped the ball with the date and had a change

they are giving away FREE $$$$$$$$$ AGAIN for god's sake... 10 dimes total PLUS the poker money for the tourney not to mention the room is free!!! PLUS they are even helping helping people with there Plane tickets that already made the reservations... they see the ball they dropped and are trying to make it right

anyway RED hope you can make the sept one ...Don't you live near kermit and vegas?

Nicely stated Dante. I had a great time attending my first bash last year, and was thoroughly impressed and grateful for all of the rx giveaways....(not to mention the 500 blackjack hand I hit)....I think its very classy of the rx to compensate those who already made their plans....see you at the switch table:thumbsup:

Anyway No I live 1K away in Portland. Its not the RX money that bothers me about this, its getting everyone together for the same Bash. This isn't the same this year I am afraid. Not sure what i am going to do, was planning on hiking in Zion with son before coming over for that weekend afterwards. But he is in College so that plan is in doubt for Sept. Like I said in a earlier post people like to plan things and solidfy them especially in the summer ,and this really messes things up, which has nothing to do with RX money.

I agree with timetopay, thought it was set in stone. Done a little research, to change my 3 tickets we are traveling with Airtrane going cuz i changed that ticket from eailer time at cost of 69.00 and coming back delta cuz they were the best deal, going to las will be charge of 69. each plus increase of 50. each (357) and coming back is 69. each for change and 173 each price increase (726) way to much and thats if you bought the insurance to allow you to do this, didnt cuz tickets were only 199 each couldnt beat that and the date was set in stone just the hotel location was in question, so of well look forward to seeing thoes who will be there in Aug. I dont wait to the last minute to plan things usually cost 2/3 times more and like knowing in advance where i stand, and well i guess we stand a little more alone. Cant change due to school but we are fine with this its gonna be our second vacation for the year and the one before school starts. Just maybe next year get a feeler for numbers going to attend and post nothing till ALLLLLLL is in writting, its not about the money but the time and planning( time off from work changing schedules etc.....) will see some of you guys there and know youre not the only ones in this boat. BOL to all.......

well sorry to se you won't be at the main bash DG...that will suck I still say my guess is 15-20 bought tickets this early... it will still be a fun mini bash for those flight $$$ do not change much until you get under 45 days of the booking... from my experience the bigget change happening when you get under 21 days before you travel

Sept 8 happens to be the day that the Fighting Irish are scheduled for an ass-whooping in Happy Valley


can't miss that one so no way I am in Vegas that weekend

No one has said if its possible rx can find out how many are willing to book there own rooms, different hotels, doesn't really matter but see if rx can find a banquet hall to rent for the day, were we can still play cards and have dinner afterwards, it looks as though there more people can attend Aug so why not try and run with that? Rx hasnt mentioned if they have thought this out as so, if not so, what are the reasons, maybe we can help, just ask, as many have said, its not about the money!! Maybe we can all come up with something that is workable for all or the majority of those who are all ready for the Aug trip. Just thought I would throw something different out to see if anyone had any thoughts as to why we can or cant. Thanks, Everyone have a great day.
