Bash Date Change Announcement

what if the mini bash has more in attendance than the "real" bash? Can we just declare the mini bash the real bash?

Keep in mind, the "mini" bash is only for those who have already purchased tickets before todays dates and cannot attend the real date.

Posters DO NOT have a choice to attend one or the other. This is how I understand it anyway, maybe hopefully Xpanda will clarify.

Once I make an official announcement I will also start a thread for mini-bash attendees and those wishing for rebates on airfare.

We are NOT compiling this data until confirmation is in.

All correct. The mini-bash is for those posters who booked their flights and are unable to reschedule for September. Flight purchases will be verified in advance.

What about those that can only go in August but had not bought airline tickets yet. I always wait till about 30 days before i buy tickets.

I guess we are screwed. I don't think i can make the Sept. dates and am not invited to the August one. I guess i fall somewhere between the cracks. I wonder if i am the only one that falls in that category?

well whether there is a "official" event or not, I've already made plans to travel on that date and will likely be in Vegas then..meeting up with other people there, made arrangements to take vacation, etc. Tickets aren't my only consideration

I imagine a lot of others might be in the same situation

Well we, me and drs girl cant come in Sept. cant change flight plans didnt insure to change, thought dates were set not to mention school starts aug 27th and wife is bring our little girl cuz we are staying 5 nites, got rooms comped thru regular gambling means, so we are in for mini bash. We booked airline early to save mega bucks and now dates changed, oh well we're going reguardless of what the rx 's date is, cant change and back out of now.

I planned on monitoring airfares to see if some L.A.-Vegas funfares get posted which are too good to pass up. But since I live close enough, chances are I'd just drive.

If I can attend the mini in August, I (and at least two other posters I know) will be there for sure. If not, the three of us all can't make it in September.
