Another weekend in Chicago, another 40 or so shootings

I'm sure many of the shooters and those shot have been arrested before.

Feel bad for that 11y.o and any innocents, which is why i stated that i wish they had better aim.

That's not proof. Police can't just drive around the neighborhood and randomly search black people for guns. That's the problem with this, is that the police are at a disadvantage based on just basic freedoms people are allowed in this country. If we could bypass those freedoms, just randomly go in peoples houses, look for guns, etc, we could be more effective.

But that will never happen because of basic human rights.

That's the problem with this, is that the police are at a disadvantage based on just basic freedoms people are allowed in this country. If we could bypass those freedoms, just randomly go in peoples houses, look for guns, etc, we could be more effective.

But that will never happen because of basic human rights.

You make it sound as though the police must go to that extreme. Is that what you believe that the police must do to reduce this epidemic? I have a little more faith that it shouldn't turn into a Police State to accomplish results.
