Thing is Jack has no idea what traditional Gringo food, and the fact that most Ticos cant afford to eat fast food doesnt change the fact that they would toss their picadillo de chayote in the garbage if they could.
I personally would take a good casado with picadillo over any fast food. I probably eat fast food twice a month.
And please tell me what´s traditional gringo diet then. I guess Missouri isn´t like the other places I´ve lived in.
Traditional gringo breakfast: bacon, eggs, pancakes, waffles, syrup, hash browns, toast, sausage, grits, ham, cheese.
Traditional tico breakfast: rice and beans, eggs, ham, fried plantains, fried white cheese (which has less calories than mozarella or swiss), sour cream, avocado, and tortillas or bread.
