I called to ask if I stopped the pending EFT Transaction if I could member to member to someone. And she said it was not allowed for US Customers.

This is simply not true.

If you call to cancel, tell them you want to buy something from a merchant.

Someone please delete this thread.

You can cancel. But they tell me you cannot member to member transfer. I'm sure you can buy something from one of their 3 mechants.

Member 2 Member transfers are not allowed. Thats the last Straw; the writing is on the wall. Stiffed! Fing Jackasses, maybe the Gov't was right after all. About offshore companies taking advantage of Americans. Neteller is proving them right and proving it was a good law to pass.
IF that is true then I think we are hosed. There are zero payment provider problems with peer-to-peer and if they do not allow such transactions then there is something much more serious going on.

Could they be doing this just to slow down how much money is going out at the present time?? If they were screwing people over on their money, dollar 1 wouldn't of come out of Neteller last week.

New comment on the Neteller site:

"Unable" is an interesting word to use.

If that's the only problem, then why couldn't I go to Canada to pick up a check? Can anyone even get through to ask these assholes this question? Stiffing maggots.

You were absolutely correct in your first statement, but I think you're analysis is wrong. I've been stiffed before and this looks like a step-by-step textbook stiff to me and anyone who sees the direction this is going. I think they'll declare a bankruptcy on everyone's money before they start getting hit with customer and shareholder lawsuits.

Someone already posted in here (I have no idea if they know what they're talking about or not.) is that all US money is secured. Locked up in CD's and such and it's matter of cashing them without penalty.

Don't know if it's BS, but it would go along with the slow pay reasoning.

They also say that it's just a logistics problem with payment processors, in which case it shouldn't be a problem for us to fly to Canada to pick up our cash prizes. Posters are on here boasting that these assholes have 110% of the money they handle on hand in some sort of post up form verified by audit. This money must be accessable or it's useless. I don't buy the "money tied up in short-term investments" excuse. Un-tie it if that's the case. BTW, I was also TOLD that my check was going to be sent out "any time now" which was yet another smoke-screen. Other posters were flat-out bullshitted as well. They've lost credibility, don't deserve the benefit of a doubt and each new excuse of theirs should be met with 100% scepticism from this moment on.

Peer to Peer transfers are indeed allowed. It's merchant to American member transfers that are not allowed.

(clarified by Merchant Services rep.)

Why would they go out of their way to get US customers their money when they're not dealing with us EVER AGAIN???? Why would they give a rat's ass if we get our money now or three weeks from now? It could be drawing interest in the Cayman Islands for them instead.

The only thing you have to worry about is if they stop paying people EVERYWHERE. Then they're out of business and we're all screwed.
This is the best news I've heard in two weeks.....

xpanda / TheCappers-

Sorry, but I'm scared and confused. xpanda, So U.S. members can do peer-to-peer (both ways) and pay merchants? But they can't be payed BY merchants? TheCappers, is there any way to reconcile this with what you heard? Thanks.

If neteller stiffs USA players all international players are going to stop dealing with them, simple theory, if they stiffed once they will stiff again. No one will have any significant money in neteller if they stiff U.S players, plus, they are in Canada, not in Guatemaal or some remote place. There are plenty of laws in canada that would not allow Neteller to stiff customers and continue operations.

...or ever? We agree on everything but the final result. You think we're just getting slowpayed; I think we're getting stiffed. They are both opinions at the moment, but I have a sixth sense for this shit, and alarms are going off telling me "STIFF!".

Now, where are the guys that want to give me 50 cents on the dollar on $20,854?

Like Poopah just posted...(say that five times fast.)

If neteller stiffs USA players all international players are going to stop dealing with them

You'll really take $10,000 for your neteller money?

Exactly. It would be like playing with a sportsbook that you KNOW stiffed a lot of people. If they were going to stay in business, IMO, they would handle this professionally.
