32 accounts!?! :monsters-

Now, I'm starting to understand some of your prior posts.

I like to call myself an account manager. I fund them and run them and pay out on a percent of profit.

I did that for my sister - paid her 10% for use of her ID. My question is how did you handle IP addresses? I know there are ways, but I never explored it.

With news like this, what's the best move at this time? Withdraw from neteller immediately, deposit all money in neteller to a sportsbook like betcris, or just wait and see?

You will be able to get out later, the worst that could happen is a pinnacle type situation. This 'sinking ship' attitude is a bit dramatic.

I had no problem withdrawing to my neteller card and then just got back from ATM and everything went fine.

Anyone have reason to believe that they will freeze accounts?

NETELLER protects member’s funds (all deposited, in-transit and un-cleared funds) by holding 110% of the value in independent Trust Accounts. As the largest independent online money transfer business in the world, we maintain our head office in Europe and are listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. As well, in the U.K. we are regulated by the Financial Services Authority which applies to all of our European customers.

Edited to add, neteller is not BoS.

No

But, what will the usa (local, state or feds) do next with these arrests? NT funds could easily be frozen

The prudent thing to do is put your money into legit books.

The US government can and will do anything it damn well pleases.

I'm off to good ole Canada this weekend to set up a new neteller account and then will let my books know of my new residency... They can just update my neteller number or mail me a check and I will take care of moving over...

There are threads devoted to this here and elsewhere. BTW if I only paid out 10% I would be a very rich man.

I am just checking in here and I get all this Neteller news. Luckily I emptied out most of my Neteller accounts when the new bill was passed. I still have a sizable chunk which I will be withdrawing today. I have about 70k combined from 32 accounts still in there. I pray that I have no problems getting it out.

I am surprised by the British government's reaction to all this. You think they would be a bit pissed that the reckless actions of the US government are wiping out billions of dollars of value for companies traded on their exchange. Maybe Blair is Bush's bitch.

Charges have not been filed yet.

Neither men have been involved with NETeller for a few years now

NETeller is a publicly traded company

Nor is it known at this time if the two men are being detained for anything having to do with their involvement in NETeller.

Other than as shareholders, neither Mr Lawrence nor Mr Lefebvre has any current position with or connection to NETELLER.

The Group has not received any communication or correspondence from any US authority regarding this or any related matter.

:lolBIG: ...and meanwhile, the "board" has sought suspention of it's shares.

To all those of you moving money to "The books". I think you are just kidding yourselves.
All you have done is move the money from Smith,Seymour etc @ Neteller to Oly,WSEX etc @Neteller.
The money is still in the same place and subject to the same risks.

The books do not have your money, it is still with Neteller.

I have complete faith in the intentions of Olympic WSEX etc to pay. I am not sure how effective those intentions would be if a good chunk of their money was in a frozen Neteller account.

Very good post.

People are acting as if the money arrived at CRIS just because they made an online transaction from their Neteller account.
