Once the pandemic passes, economic conditions will go back to how they were before. Absolutely some people were going through economic crisis in February, but not everyone. And what's so great about America is that people can take ownership over themselves and their outcomes, so anyone who wants to work hard and escape economic hardship has permission to do so. Any economic tailspin a person goes through is going to be because of their own choices.

TomG, in your take on "tailspins" are you lumping in some of the dregs of society who are just in life/careers fuck-ups, goof balls, un-motivated, under-achievers, addicts, etc.
With say for example a hard working wildly successful Bar Owner/Barbershop/Etc who suddenly had a Governor six weeks ago shut them down thru no choice of their own ?

Barbers can make house-calls to any customer they want.

The vast majority of us do not come down strongly on either side. We are going to go about our lives in whatever ways we want and in whatever ways we always have. We are not going to rely on government decisions to significantly influence or impact our lives.
