FRIDAY
IRELAND
St. Patrick's +.5 -134/Sligo, 1 unit
Shamrock -.5 -125/Derry City, 4 units
Shelbourne -.5 +126/Cork City, 4 units

Record 74-57.5, +30.28

Flipper: I rarely play Mexico teams. The only reason I played Santos/Monterrey was because it was the CONCACAF Champs League final, and I follow that. Colombian news is hard to find. I usually go to futbolred.com and Google translate the articles. I know enough Spanish to know what the articles are about, then translate for a quicker read.

TUESDAY
ITALY
Chievo +.5 -127/Roma, 2 units
Palermo +1.5 +115/Napoli, 2 units

Napoli, Roma, Udinese, Lazio and Inter are in a great fight for the final Champs League spot, though it also seems none of them want to win it. Playing against Roma and Napoli for that reason. A draw or loss for Roma will probably knock them from the running, as they're already four points back with three games left. Chievo has a decent home record and plays tight matches. A draw is manageable. Palermo seems safe from relegation, but will play tough enough here to stay within a goal.

Might have some Libertadores plays later today.

i doubt the roma match will play the full 90 - 25 mins in and it is already a swimming pool out there. I wish i saw the weather because under 2 is a lock

Ya, I had chievo +0.5, but would have put a far larger wager on that under if I had seen the conditions. Guys were chipping 10 foot passes in the air because everything on the ground would just die.

Any idea on the naples conditions? Waiting for the broadcast to start, it says mostly cloudy on yahoo, but liking napoli -1.5 if the conditions are decent, lot of palermo injuries.

I ended up taking it but not as much as I had planned, looks like pretty damp conditions there as well.

Weather definitely helped Chievo. Didn't see the Napoli game, but Palermo didn't get there for us. Back where we started.

LIBERTADORES
Cruz Azul -.5 -125/Libertad, 2 units

Cruz Azul is out of the Mexican playoffs, so this is their only battlefield right now.

A mess of Italian picks Wednesday. I think the bookies are overestimating the favorites.

Ehhh, actually kind of disappointing to go 5-2 and only pick up 1.36 units. That extra time goal for Milan blew up the best bet of the day. But we move on.

LIBERTADORES
Universidad de Chile PK +130/Deportivo Quito, 1 unit

ENGLAND (FA CUP--SATURDAY)
Liverpool to win (any time) +124, 2 units

FRIDAY
IRELAND
Dundalk +.75 +141/Cork City, 4 units
Drogheda +.5 -105/Sligo, 5 units

Two big plays today. Cork may be missing up to eight first-team players. Drogheda might be for real this year, and I'm taking the chance at home against Sligo in--if I'm right--the last chance to get this kind of price on a good team.

Interesting note in Libertadores last night. Quito beat Universidad de Chile 4-1. UdC is considered one of the best teams in South America, and is the 2011 Copa Sudamerican champion. It's going to take a big effort next week in Chile for them to overcome this deficit.
