Where did I accept anything that AK said concerning his economic theories? I only used his graph to determine there was ~5% spending cuts which proved what you said was wrong about not a single country had spending cuts. I only used his graph to come to my conclusion, that's it. You are reading things that are not there.
One thing joe speaks about is how those countries have largely stopped reproducing and the United States is getting to that point too, where we need to import new citizens (pros/cons to this) Not to sound like a xenophobe but a lot of these new citizens really don't share our value systems.

Really? That is a pretty bold statement but most of the developed world has slowed their reproduction down so I wonder how true it is.
As current generations grow older though, this could become a major economic problem. I suppose immigrants can replace but obviously there are societal pros/cons to this, some that are obvious and some that we don't even know yet. Tough to predict the future in that sense and can't be quantified.

More government = more taxes = more inflation = the necessity for two incomes = lower standard of living
Not to mention to the incalculable social and economic costs of children growing up in a chaotic, destabilizing environment.

Politicians and social planners seem impervious to the basic time-honored economic lesson: if you subsidize something (like illegitimacy or laziness) you get more of it -- the basic reward-and-punishment theory.
Of course, all of these economically draining and socially disastrous policies are great for the Big Government Party, but horrible for everyone else, including the holy "collective" the left can't stop whining about.
