Incase anyone is looking for some other info on Laidlaw from this past year, this is a thread I started when the financial forum was combined with the political forum.

I asked the mods to move this thread here or combine it but never got an answer. Here it is incase anyone is interested.

I like to reread this to see how far the company has progressed.

Thanks ksta.

I appreciate the thanks.

I got 8 of my friends into this stock too and they all own 1 million to 5 million shares each. Only one of them sold any and he sold half at .0033. The rest of us are along for the ride.

There are too many good things still to come with this company to sell anything right now IMO.

Lets hope we can get to pennyland and I will take you up on that beer. But I'll pay for the shots. :drink:

Not sure what to expect the next two days and it really doesn't matter to me. As long as lleg is getting closer to biomass facilities that are producing power then the stock will take care of itself.

This is from one poster on I hub. I respect his posts and believe he knows what is going on for the future of this company. BTW, I think he is talking about himself.

The pattern of trading here with these big block buys and high volume all week suggests to me that someone is building a stake here. There are approx 2.2 billion shares out and management own 70%? Let's say it is 60% therefore about 800 milion shares in the float. If someone wanted 10% of this they need to buy 200 million shares or so - let's say an average of 0.005 cents price that is about $1 million....very little to get exposure to this portfolio. On a pinkie there is no requirement to declare stakes I believe. Maybe someone could confirm? $2mn would buy 20% just now- 400 million shares. If I'm right and someone is building a meaningful stake the float will be reduced sharply. That will mean that renewed buying from other investors ( ie US!!) will have a big effect on the price. If I was buying a stake I'd get it done quickly before Berlin application is filed. I can see a pattern in all this. The volume this week is more than retail imho.

I'm expecting another sell off on Friday. Hang in there, this is a really good company to be invested in.

This company WILL produce power and the stock price will refect it.

If you would have told me last week we would be at .0040 by today, I would have taken it in a heartbeat.

Finally sold...bought at .0004 and sold at .007. Too afraid to continue the ride. Best of luck to everyone else.

Your the smartest man on the RX. Congrats with your huge profits.

Any chance of getting back in and holding some long for the next run up? I would.

from the ceo's blog at the close today

I get lots of questions from investors asking how things are progressing with our company. I always find it tough to balance between my inclination to keep deals quiet until they are done and updating our shareholders on what we are doing. We have talked publicly in the past about the two projects in Massachusetts we are pursuing and I am pleased to say they are going very well. I hope to make a formal announcement on at least one of the projects very soon. One of the things that I really like about this project is that it expands our reach from our core biomass business to encompass solar power as well. Because of the varied renewable energy and manufacturing elements of the project, it could also serve as the "poster child" for current state and Federal economic stimulus efforts. I certainly expect the project to garner a lot of political support. I look forward to being able to share many more details with our investors as events unfold.

I really like Mike's blog. Anyone still interested go to the investorshub and check out the DD that skunksyard has posted. Its good info and shows the possibility of what Laidlaw has on the table right now.

Another interesting chart to look at is BEHL. They are now trading around .035 but got up to .015. Their chart almost mirrors Laidlaw's chart on their run up.

Last Friday's close was .0018. Today we closed at .0038. Not bad.

Thanks for the help posting info Tanner. I hope to buy you a beer in Berlin someday.

The posters that I read on the I hub board are expecting a nice move the next two weeks for our little high risk penny stock.

Seems like forward progress is happening by the day.

Any new investors watching, welcome and good luck. I think we are at the start of a company that is going to be a leader in alternative energy. MBB the CEO of Laidlaw made another post in his blog.

Update 10/13/09: One other thing I forgot to mention is that this project will add an operating plant to our portfolio. We will take control of the existing steam plant pending conversion to biomass. It's not going to make us any money in the near term, but I am hoping that through synergies with Homeland we will be able to save some money versus current operating costs and generate some revenue while we are undertaking the conversion. In any event, these assets certainly add to the value of what we are building in my view.

This is a picture of possibly one of Laidlaw's newest biomass facilities. This one supplies Harvard University and its 200 buildings. I've been into the sauce for several hours so do your own DD as I could be wrong on all above postings.

I normally do not post rumours, but my source is pretty reliable and knowing and the lack of SEC inability to control shorting {Congress still hasn't passed new rules]- The rumour [and I stress that all it is] says there is over 300 MILLION ahort sales after last week in LLEG.
Normally that might be bullish- but the rumour says these are "Naked" shorts which history shows are NEVER covered -SEC seems incapable of enforcing against this-especially on the pinks.
Could be a problem and doesn't show on O/S records. The shorts take the money and run.
Hope its not true.Otherwise everything looks positive
