I was a little hammered last night and decided to post a comment about the share price and where we should be on MBB's blog. Here was his response.

"It's not for me to say what this will do to our share price. That's for the market to decide. What I personally feel is that this is a great project with a major private equity firm and emerging cleantech company that will be a political home run. It also allows us to dip our toe into the solar business, which is nice because it gives us another potential business line to pursue in an area that is drawing significant investment from the private sector as well as government incentives."

LoL. He is responding to someone I know who posts about Laidlaw on another forum. He is close to owning 20 million shares and is long too. I believe Tanner12oz and Leroy Jenkins post at that site too.

He had a few too many drinks last night and told me he made a comment.

I'll let him know.

Tanner, I know who Bad Gambler is. He is a poster here but not in this thread.

I posted back in the comments and MBB said to bring my basketball or baseball glove instead of my golf clubs.

He needs to get some sleep.

I made one more comment just because its late and its cocktail night again.

We shall see if he responds. Either way, we need results and news but I think MBB is on cloud 9 about the progress of this company.

Looks like he might post on Twitter too.

decent day 10% up...clawed our way back from yesterdays beating...volume was nonexistent today...which is probably not good...need some news. im actually starting to wonder about the berlin project...i know its the companies biggest focus but it seems like theres stiff competition from clean power...hopefully they are hoping for the best but planning for the worst if berlin doesnt workout

It has been like this since I owned the stock. Laidlaw has never been on time releasing news.

As for Clean Power, they are not even an issue IMO. They might be further along with somethings in the application process but they don't have any financing or anyone to sell their power too.

Yes, we are expecting news on the permit being submitted for the Berlin project. Once that gets submitted and approved, Laidlaw can start rebuilding the boiler to a biomass burning boiler. Once this gets done, Laidlaw will be running a revenue generated 65mw biomass facility.

There is also a project in Mass. that should have have news on it too. They also are suppose to have 3 other projects in the works so news on these could be at anytime.

Don't sweat the small moves up or down. This company is real and if a person is patient they will make a good profit on this stock. IMO

Skunksyard is finding some great info on the investorshub forum. Its worth a read if you are into this company.

Few guys saying the stock price will drift lower if we don't hear any news. We shall see.

I'm holding long, it doesn't take long to move back up to where we should be.....and then quadruple from there.

Lotsa info at Investor's Hub, but the forum structure makes it unreadable, IMO.

Its a little different but I don't know about unreadable. I just click on the poster I want to read and ignore the rest.

Few posters I follow are:

sageofflorida, mborowski, digiholic, skunksyard, investool, claytrader, richsears (against laidlaw), brungy (against laidlaw), and discreet_suffolk

Here is the reason for the move up. A good time to put up a pr. This is project number 2 of 4 biomass facilities that Laidlaw is pursuing.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Laidlaw Biopower, LLC (“Laidlaw”), an affiliate of Laidlaw Energy Group, Inc. (Ticker “LLEG”), announced today that it has executed a Memorandum of Understanding with an affiliate of a Massachusetts based private equity firm to initially lease and subsequently acquire an operating oil and gas fired power plant in Southeastern Massachusetts. The plant is situated in an industrial park and currently serves the thermal energy needs of a leading developer and manufacturer of photovoltaic products and technology. Laidlaw plans to convert the plant to biomass power to serve the electric and thermal needs of the photovoltaic company, with the balance of the plant’s electricity to be exported to the grid and sold to a local utility pursuant to a long-term contract.

Laidlaw has concurrently executed a letter of intent with the photovoltaic company which specifies the business terms of a contemplated 20 year power purchase agreement that the parties intend to negotiate. Laidlaw intends to make additional details available on the project upon execution of the power purchase and lease agreements.
Laidlaw expects to execute a lease and assume control of the power plant within the next 120 days. The lease will allow Laidlaw to acquire the plant upon receipt of the necessary permits and approvals to operate it as a biomass plant. Upon execution of the contemplated lease, the power plant will continue to be operated for Laidlaw for Veolia Energy (http://www.veoliaenergyna.com/en/) pursuant to an existing O&M Agreement.
An additional and unique element of the project is Laidlaw’s intent to combine solar power with its intended biomass project. Laidlaw intends to install solar panels representing approximately 1.5 megawatts of capacity on the roofs of two of the buildings at the manufacturing facility. The power generated by the solar panels is planned to be used on site, with any excess sold to the grid.
Commenting on the project, Laidlaw President & CEO Michael B. Bartoszek stated, “This project is a win-win. Not only does it offer significant environmental benefits by converting a fossil fuel plant to a renewable fuel, it also helps support a leading cleantech company make innovative products to further support the shift to alternative energy.”
The project is expected to developed as part of the joint venture established between Laidlaw and Homeland Renewable Energy (www.homelandrenewableenergy.com), known as Homeland Laidlaw Energy, LLC. (“HLE”), subject to approval of HLE’s Board of Directors.

I'm so pissed. I funded my Ameritrade acct via ACH last Thursday,
and on the dip this morning, I put a buy in at .28, and it said
that my transfer will take one more day to clear, since they
don't allow buys of penny stocks with non-marginable funds.

Argh. And right after that lleg doubled.

The way this thing moves, we might be back there again. The MMs have way too much control over them.

If there is no news again for a lenght of time, it could drop.

I am reconsidering my selling point for half my shares.
