whatever weight i'm supposed to be at will eventually happen. all I have to do is KEEP THE CONTINUE!!!....2 more hrs at same place today. might go to Berea college soccer field tomorrow..always leave that open until the next day so I can stay interested and in the moment.

well,didnt drive to Berea(40 mile round trip) but did the same route as yesterday and day before. 125 min,and that extra 5 is for shoppin at krogers.lol..but here is the headline story of the day. lardage down to 227.2 and ofm is doin happy dance...I AM NOT MORBIDLY OBESE ANY LONGER!!!...first off this thread should have been called "morbidly obese mans walkin thread because that's where I was....first off i'd like to thank the academy,the producers,my co stars,jlo,jen aniston,ec,but most of all i'd like to thank my little friend MIA,WHO RAISES HELL WITH ME EVERY MORNIN if i'm too slow in getting out the door...hope everybody enjoys college football tonight because I sure will....KEEP THE CONTINUE!

pretty much same route today @ 120 min..lardage quotient is down again today to 225.6,and I believe I know why. last 5 days I didn't eat past midnight,and not before 4;pm..only black coffee and water for 16 hrs and the 1st couple days was hell.lol..i'd have plate in hand,watchin the clock but now its really not that bad. only time I think about food is between 1 & 4 pm because i don't get up til 8 or 9 and by the time i'm through walkin it's usually about 1 oclock.

been walkin 60 minutes almost every day....crab orchard ky lardage quotient @ 225.4,so have dropped 1/3 of a lb in 3 yrs...keep the continue!

i weigh 260,,5-11,,,and i have had enough of bein obese,,im goin to walk for 1 hour every day for 30 days and see how it goes,,ive been walkin for a couple weeks and have worked myself up to 1 hour and im sore as hell,,,i cant take bein a gdmd tub of lard any more!!! been plannin on doin this for a while,,got my new winter walkin clothes ready,,sock caps,hoods,masks,got me 2 pair new balance shoe,,,lets see what happens
i remember the day i started this thread..havent made any wagers since last superbowl but im still out there enjoying mother nature..my goal for 2021 is to get down to 199 and if i dont itlll be my goal next yr...i dont miss gambling but i do sometimes miss all the bullshit. lol

Sounds like you've had some success, so congrats on that.

Out of curiosity, have you ever thought about seeing a dietician? That really tends to be 75%+ of the losing weight equation. I've often explained to my clients that you don't have to feel like you're in starvation mode to lose weight. If you're eating the right kinds of foods, you can often eat more and feel satiated. Walking is going to burn roughly 100 calories per mile (which is fine if that works for you). I often find people have more success focusing on the intake side of the equation.

yes i changed my name because i got booted for some stupid argument..lol....thanks for the advice partner and i only have one question..how do i stop eating ice cream?...its my own personal crack!

I hear ya on that one. We all have one or two of those. I close my night out with a Clio frozen yogurt bar wrapped in dark chocolate. It does the trick for me (I think it's the dark chocolate that keeps me under control on the sweet tooth). I can handle the 140 calories. With that said, the Mrs can't stand them.

Keep up the good work! Remember you can't outrun your fork, or in your case outwalk your fork, unless you're an Olympic rower. Try intermittent fasting. I only eat twice in a 6-7 hour window and I've dropped 25 pounds.

when i started this thread,i was tryin to lose lbs by walkin but have learned that its mostly about what i eat..i enjoy the walk/meditation very much and it makes me feel better is why i continue..as fopr if,im doin about an 8 hr eating window right now and ill see how it goes...thanks for stopping by.
