65 minutes 2nite,,app 3 miles,,gonna have the same thing for supper that i had last night,,plus for snack,a bowl of bobs red mill 5 grain cereal,,,good stuff,,taste better than oatmeal and probably healthier,,,i weighed myself 2nite before i headed out the door =265,,when i got home and got nekid in prep for a shower i weighed and it was 254,,,shouldnt i lse some weight just packin all that cargo around?? 11 lbs

I'm not really sure how long, I ve always been a walker, my walking would be considered cross country walking too...It can be grueling at times, but my job requires it and the more I walk the more money I make....I really do like the feeling after walking for hours, your lungs have this clean/ strong feeling.

Yo may want to add a little weightlifting in, even if you start by just doing one set and building off of that...like anything it just takes time and progress over time.

ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY MINUTES TODAY!!! didnt have to wear 2 coats today and i sure could tell the difference,,i can feel a huge improvement in my conditioning,(if you could call it that),i believe the only obstacle before me now is getting bored with the same old same old,,hopefully not,,im already checkin out new places in order to "keep it fresh",,one thing that helps is walkin up small hills,,they keep me focused on just tryin to make it without stoppin.

congratulations on your progress. you say you were tired of being obese, sick if I remember correctly and sometimes that's what it takes to make a lifestyle choice, to become sick and tired of the direction your going. I was in the same boat, I was almost 210 at a height of 5'8 at the beginning of the year, but I decided I had to get in shape so I joined a gym and started working out an hour a day with cardio and weightlifting, and this morning at the gym weighed 173 with sweatpants, shorts, and sweatshirt so I am probably closer to 170. you're doing great and to help relieve boredom (as well as toning up) add some bodyweight exercises, they don't cost anything to do and bang out some pushups, bodyweight squats and abdominal work. do the plank and that will firm up your midsection like nothing else.

ninety minutes tonite and at my monday night weigh in im down to 250,,it surely feels good to see those numbers pop up on the scale,i think ive done very well for no more than 20 days,,my goal was to lose that much in 30 days,,i really didnt think that i would be able to walk as much as i have,so fast,i believe the way i have learned to do the hills,,(very very slow BUT i git er done,is the key,if i see some steps,i walk up them, if i see a hill i go up it,,this sure has changed the way i feel about myself.

I think I'm in love with therx. Where else can you find a forum where you get your daily sportsbetting fix, the rubber room, and now this inspirational weight loss thread. I'm glad I finally found this great forum.

Mr. H keep up the good work. We're all rooting for you.

Well put; TheRx has a ton of useful info on just about any subject.

Mr. Hognuts,

Great job so far, keep up the good work. 10lbs in about 3 weeks is about right, just keep that steady pace and you're home free in no time. Dieters never win cuz they want things now and generally aren't willing to put in the required exercise time, you definitely are. Your weight loss will be permanent too, provided you keep the activity level somewhat similar to your current level.

Happy to see you progressing before everyone's eyes.

hog yes, but again i have had diet pills and appetite suppressants to help me...

i take hoodia 1500EX twice daily and Zenatrol 3 times a day...I am lucky if i eat anything over the course of the day, and i do it without being hungry becuase of the pills, i'm definatly not doing it the most healthy way, but i am looking for quick results...If i get hungry i have a slim fast shake and thats the extent of my meal intake...
