My thoughts are why bring in the circus with either?

The whole season will just revolve around either...why as an organization or a player would you want that?

Unless Trey won't be able to start the season I would be a hard pass...

I'll admit I didn't bother to look at what's Trey's injury time line is...

You traded for CMC, you got Trent Williams, Kittle, Deebo, Bosa, Armstead, Warner, etc in their primes. You're ready to win now. This is your window.

You're really gonna tell all those vets we're going into the season with Trey Lance?

If Garapollo didn't get hurt, I think it would've been hard to move on from him as well.

If you're saying we're gonna go with an unproven QB after being a final 4 team 3 of last 4 years, that dude better be the real deal. Brady just kinda consolidates everything too. If he's there, he's the guy....If it is Lance and Purdy then you got drama all year between those 2.

I'll probably bet Brady on DK if/when they come with odds as well, but the limits on those things are low for me now. Only let me bet $60 on OBJ to Dallas. I had like 200 on Durant 7-1 to stay put.

At the very least I think Brady will wanna go there and it'll be on the 9ers to decide. But if that doesn't happen, yeah I don't think he minds going Raiders/Tampa and just thinks he can win there. Usually great athletes are the last 1's to know they aren't that guy anymore. Phil Jackson said that and it was why he left the Lakers after 2011 sweep vs the Mavs.

I think those guys like Lance and Purdy.

He is 46. He actually found out he had limited options when he left new England. Tampa wasn't his first choice.

Tampa made so much sense then...had a very good team run by a qb who would literally throw 30 ints. A season.

But we shall see.

Edit: All that for a qb that probably only plays 1 more season. I just can't get pass 46 years old and coming off a respectable statistical season but still the worst he has in in ALONG time.

Ugh. The more I think about it.

CMC could run for 3000 yards next season and if they won the SB it would all be "brady, Brady, brady!"

Ugh. Hard pass. But that's me.

Even having to basically tell Trey "nah u got hurt its over brining in grandpa." No thanks. Then he leaves after 1 season and ur not sitting great.

He could definitely be trending towards dust but if you look at the big picture, Tampa in 2022 was very similar to NE in 2019. Lost their entire interior OL (Marpet retirement, Jensen injury, Cappa free agency), lost Gronk to retirement, lost AB to insanity, Godwin coming back from a torn ACL. It was a pretty dire situation.

NE in 2019 was similar...Their center Andrews had to take a year off because of a blood cot, Gronk retired, AB got kicked off the team for insanity, Gordon for drugs, dealt for Sanu who was a bust, drafted NKeal "not the real deal" Harry 1st rd and he busted. Then he hit free agency basically left for dead by the football world.

Ditto for Rodgers with losing Adams, Watson/Doubs couldn't stay healthy and develop all year....Think people being a bit premature calling for these guys demise. They might not be what they were but think they can still be big upgrades for the right teams.

I like Rodgers.

I just don't think teams want to play his "oooo show me love or ill retire!" Every season.

Rodgers would be a great fit in SF. Problem is the draft capital to get him(as you mentioned) and the cap hit. Rodgers could be MVP next season i don't think thats a realistic goal for Brady. I also don't think Packers want to trade him to a team they will be competing with...you might think they are rebuilding but I think they believe they will he contenders next season. They certainly didn't want to move Favre to VIkings so the sentiment is probably same with moving Rodgers to Ninere.

Brady won 8 games in the worst division in football.(to be fair he always seems to play on the best team in the worst division in football just above every season) His main competition was a team that had traded its best player months ago and still almost won that shit division.

He than looked awful against dallas in Tampa. Padded the stats in a lot of garbage time.

Purdy beat the team that beat Brady handily. One has no other place to go but up and the other only down.

But who knows. I have definitely seen stranger things.(no pun intended)

Rodgers is funny with the retirement talk.

No chance he walks from 110 million. I don't care how rich you are...so knock it off Aaron.

Brady Bucs or outside shot Miami imo. Miami is in a pickle with Tua. They don’t like him and regretted drafting him. The owner and GM were media smitten with him. Other’s didn’t want him. That’s the direct inside the ropes rumblings from two years ago. Now Tua is a big liability. His concussion aren’t going away because he can’t fall like a normal person. He twist n rolls to his back and constantly fails to use his arms for impact. Part of me must think he has PTSD from that Bama injury idk.

Niners will let pride get in the way with Lance. Jimmy G walks. Purdy Lance Show 2023. Niners are type team that will spend money elsewhere also considering the roster and win now. Can’t see Brady or Arod going to Niners despite the connections and fun story.

A Rod and Raiders makes sense. Raiders Packers seems like most reasonable options

Lamar is out in Baltimore imo. I’m not sure there are takers for Lamar for that big of $ like the media wants us to believe. A team like Carolina with their dumbass owner and desperation for QB would be an option but not with Frank now coach imo. Titans are built similar to Baltimore and Tanny could be a cap cut. But not sure Ten has cap space.

Falcons will test Ridder 2023 and target Drake or Caleb 2024 if Ridder stinks

Texans could be a wildcard for Lamar with big cap room if Demeco becomes coach. Draft capital put elsewhere instead of QB.

Raiders have cap room. Rodgers Lamar are Options. Not sure they are the fits under Coaching and Roster. But the raiders are known for stupid deals. A rod is probably moved last year if Raiders give up Waller in trade. Waller is probably moved this year.

Colts pass and draft a QB

Saints have zero cap room. Maybe Carr on the cheap goes here if willing.

Panthers good cap but stupid owner. Frank Reich style qb maybe a Carr goes here but seems likely it’s draft or back to Darnold for the tank and 2024

Jets are wildcard. Any QB possible imo. Can’t see Rodger going to Jets thou. Favre 2.0 footsteps plus just not his type of city. Jets did grab his old OC. Have some pieces in place. So it’s possible.

For Fun Soeculation purposes and drama....

Brady Bucs Fish (Fish) Brady signs in Miami with the perfect pieces for his dunk n dunk arm speeders on outside. Gronk is ecstatic to join party city Miami. Fish ship Tua off in trade for lost Draft pick

Carr Saints Titans Jets (Saints) Carr reunion with Allen connections in sin city 2.0 for the holy man.

Arod Niners Jets Raiders (Niners) Broke Back Mountain Arod signs friendly deal to be at home in Rainbow Paradise. Lance becomes Love in SF. Niners go through QBs and RB injuries like no other team. Can’t have enough

Lamar Texans Jets Raiders (Texans) Texans trade 2nd pick and load up more stock. Sign Lamar for the curveball shocks the league.

Jimmy Titans Jets Raiders (Raiders) McClown roots Jimmy reunited back in porn star city with all his ladies for the perfect fit.

Ravens Draft maybe Richardson
Jets Draft Petty wild trade up
Falcons Tua for 2nd rd pick
Panthers Draft Maybe Levi
Colts Draft Maybe Levi Shroud
Titans Zach Wilson for 3rd rd pick
Seahawks Geno
Bucs Winston homecoming

Brady and Rodgers probably should both retire . They don’t suck but their clear regression is undeniable. And I don’t see how that goes the other way, plus don’t see them competing for title

Do they really wanna go to a team like Raiders/Jets/Dolphins and be a middle of the pack team in a loaded AFC?

Honestly not 100% convinced Jimmy G isn’t in SF even with injury. He’s probably gone but we’ve been down that road before

You make it sound as if it's Brady's choice....

Niners will have 0 interest in doing this for multiple reasons.

Vegas, Jets or his only options. Going to be rough for him if he wants to continue playing with Rodgers available also...I believe Rodgers will be more appealing to these teams than Brady.

Why i believe Brady returns to Tampa---if he wants to keep playing.
Brady doesnt have to be "Brady"

Just a game manager

Kind of like a Peyton Manning on Denver's super bowl team

True with Brady. He has a better arm still and also still gets rid of the ball about as quick as anyone. SF just needs him to manage in that type offense.

Depending on Purdy and Lance injuries severity. And considering they are both young and Raw while on contract friendly terms. Brady makes sense if SF wanted to bring him in for a year. They don’t have to rush Purdy or Lance and giving them time to learn from Brady.

I don’t see Brady going there for several reasons but on the flip side could find several he does. Will be interesting off season for sure

What’s your opinions of maybe Miami? And what’s the rumbling on Tua down there. I’ve hinted a few times on here the Tua stuff going back to Draft day. There was serious support for Herbert but owner smitten over Tua. Straight from the mouth of a former HC coach in the room brought in to consult and no longer coaches but still gets interviews for HC . Tua was not and still isn’t a guy wanted in Miami regardless of concussion stuff. Just direct information I’ve heard from one source.

Would you entertain a Brady or Rodgers in Miami? As a fan etc and if so what pieces get moved

Brady would be a distraction... It would be all about him.. You build this team up over the years , but now he's coming in and now will be the spokesman for the team after each game.. That wouldn't work for me

What does that even mean?

if I were making decisions for that team, I’d go him if I thought he was an upgrade over what I had, if I didn’t then I wouldn’t. Pretty simple

Doubt that

Brady has always had positive impact on team culture. I think he just wants one last shot to win at this point, and would love opportunity to do it with hometown team

I think the vets in that locker room want a vet like Brady to lead them if Purdy/Lance is a little murky

Granted it worked out financially, this is generally right

But I do think certain players can really negatively impact a locker room, and QB position is often very influential in that respect

If the talent gap isn't that significant, I'll take the less talented guy if he is a better teammate/leader

Ehhhhh. People like to win but they also want credit.

Niners are right there. They don't need an old fossil like Brady to come in and suck up all the oxygen.

For what? If you want Kyle gone you gotta boot Lynch also.
Lol. Fans will be fans.

Shannon did great job. The guy went 3 Qbs deep until he hit a wall on qb 4

What did they want him to do...put on a helmet and be qb number 5 this year?
