The 49ers can't count on Purdy to be ready at the start of the season. If he's out at least 6 months he'll miss all OTA's and the pre reason. Not gonna happen. They won't go into the season with Lance either. I think they move off of either Lance or Garapolo and get another veteran QB and use Purdy as a backup. Prob is for the 49ers they have no draft capital for a trade since they gave up draft picks for Lance.

Not saying there isn't positives with Brady. but taking time off in camp for personal reasons , coming back , yelling and screaming at players probably didn't set well , even with the credibility he has.. Being as immobile as he is ,probably a good cause also for the OL issues initself.
