Obviously the books are thinking Mizzou comes back strong second half and blows the game open, thus the +9.5 for Northwestern. That's a bit of a leap of faith if you ask me though. Not much about Missouri's performance thus far has shown they're gonna win this thing at all, let alone by 10 points. I really like the Northwestern bet here.
Do you really think the oddsmakers in vegas are scrambling to put in a "trap" line right after the second quarter ends? I doubt it. Hilarious theory though if you think about it. Sometimes vegas can be shifty , but so many times they are dead on, even when you think they cant be....case in point TCU, WVU, CAL, NCState etc....these were all within a FG of swinging either way
