G i may join ya with Shapovalev +4.5 games. Mauling it over......Tsonga handles lefties well, winnign % greater with lefties than righties. The kid beat a big server in straights at Montreal , Del Potro. 4.5 games or over 3.5 sets?......mind is frozen. Can Tsonga beat him in straights?

I feel like the young Canadian can take a Set. I'm a dart-throwing Non-Tsonga fan though so...

...big reason I dislike Tsonga is that IMO he does not Close-Out well enuff for me to consider strongly, backing him his serve though just too powerful for me to Fade Him with confidence so he just generally pisses me off.

Too much Emotion in this one, for me. "Heart" may be too much of whats got me believing the kid takes a Set. 3rd Set at the least: very very possible cuz if Tsonga takes the first 2 for a 2-0 lead his desire wanes, "killer instinct" not present. just my decidedly less-than-sharp opinion.

Missing out on the Eugenie Fade really sucks. I only just became aware that she'd lost recently to the 398th Ranked 21 Year Old player. Jeez Genie.

Elena Vesnina (RUS) [17] vs.
Anna Blinkova (RUS)

Trying a Small Play on Blinkova here at +195.

Another Young Player, I think she is from Khazikstan and I like the word 'Khazakhstan" or whatever it is.

wlRUEFLJCl8.jpg

Canadian Dude named: Shopalopalopalev. Or whatever. :):) at least "Blinkova" is easier to spell.

I liked the OVER in this Vesnina/Blinkova at O/U 20 but That Like somehow Died when it moved to 20.5.

Witness. Youth Show Out versus Tsonga & here in 10 minutes or so: Blinkova.

I can't even consider a bet on or against the dude cuz I figure he's gonna Retire or get kicked out.

Sucks cuz I used to love to Lean towards fading him....OVer in matches, +whatever on his opponent til eventually SU Loss from him.

Now its like he's just too much damaged goods.

I still got Feliciano Lopez though....if he survives Kutznetzov

Dang everytime I see his name in typed word it looks different than the previous time I'd see it.

I hope he gives Tsonga a Battle.

You play that Over 3.5? I'm still hesitating to get involved in anything involving Tsonga. :):)

Grigor grand on Grandstand.

WHAT HAPPENED: On the heels of the biggest week of his career — a run to the Western & Southern Open title in Cincinnati, his first-ever ATP World Tour Masters 1000 triumph — Grigor Dimitrov came into the US Open in top form. That was clear for all to see on Day 3 in the Grandstand, where the No. 7-seeded Bulgarian eased into the second round with a businesslike 6-1, 6-4, 6-2 win over Czech qualifier Vaclav Safranek.
“I just had to focus on my side of the court,” said Dimitrov. “It’s always tricky to play against a player who you’ve never played against. I just followed my game plan and what I wanted to do. It was a great match.”
Dimitrov, 26, set the tone in the opening set with service breaks in the fourth and sixth games. Safranek — making his Grand Slam main-draw debut at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center — tried to mix it up in the middle stanza, rushing the net on 10 occasions and winning half of those points. But a comeback was simply too much to ask for the bearded 23-year-old, who has been relegated to the ATP Challenger Tour and ITF Pro Circuit for much of the year as he seeks to accumulate ranking points. He’s currently No. 210.
As Dimitrov said during his struggles of 2016, which saw him nearly drop out of the Top 40 in the Emirates ATP Rankings, “One tournament can change everything for you. You never know when that tournament might be.” Perhaps that tournament was Cincinnati. Perhaps the 2017 US Open will prove to be a breakthrough Slam for an immensely talented player who has twice reached the semifinal round at a major (2014 Wimbledon, 2017 Australian Open), but has more often that not fallen short of the tennis world’s lofty expectations.
“I’m just enjoying a lot of the process and the game itself,” said Dimitrov, who registered 22 winners and a like number of unforced errors in the one-hour, 48-minute matchup. “Tennis is one of those sports: whatever you put in, you get out.”

WHAT IT MEANS: Crowded with the likes of world No. 1 Rafael Nadal, Tomas Berdych, Gael Monfils and David Goffin, Dimitrov’s quarter won’t be an easy one to navigate. But the man we once dubbed “Baby Fed” probably won’t look much further than his next opponent, the winner of the first-round contest between Brit Aljaz Bedene and Russia’s Andrey Rublev. He has yet to face either player.

MATCH POINT: Where does Dimitrov’s sweeping backhand rank among the one-handers of Roger Federer, Stan Wawrinka, Dominic Thiem and Richard Gasquet?

"Rory standing over a 4 footer for par" is a lot like how I feel about your young countryman ending up within 4 of Jo-Wille but that bodes excellently for the play and ya'll cuz I ain't Sharp at this so me Hating a play = Major Value Added, to a play. I do like that OV3.5 tho....if I do anything it'll be that. Probably enuff for me that ya'll are on the match tho, to accomplish that needed Action in this one. Gotta Have SOME Stake in this one...backing the Canadian.
