According to one 911 call that was excluded from court a voice expert analyzer says it was Trayvon yelling for help just prior to the gunshot.

if this kid followed him back to his car then he got what he deserved i guess. i thought i had read this guy was not even on watch that night. he was going to the store and saw martin. he was pissed off because the area had been robbed before and by the time law enforcement showed up the thieves had fleed. he called the line and from what i understand he was frustrated with people getting away so he thought he would be barney fife and do his own investigating before the real police showed up. if i shot every shady person i saw around my neighborhood i think i would have ran out of ammo by now. i will stand by my thought that without a gun on his side this coward never confronts him.
