Back to the trial: "Just the Facts Maa'm." What I saw favoured the defense; even though the witness was prosecution.. lotta reasonable doubt at very least.

I doubt there would be even close to this much interest in the this case if both men happened to be White. Or both men Black. Or for that fact if the races of the shooter and target were reversed. Although I would hate like hell to be a juror in this trial, the media has made this a much bigger deal than it should have been.

Admittedly I'm not in Florida, but I don't think the end of this trial will cause anything like the LA riots - those were the culmination of so many things, stemming all the way back to when Daryl Gates became Chief of the LAPD in the late 70s.

Although he was told not to follow him, but we wont go there. Is there any possibility that Martin felt threatened and was defending himself? Can they both claim self defense? Here is where my issue is, it was Zimmermans decision making that caused this entire incident, its very difficult for me to call him innocent.

Nick is it illegal to approach someone and accuse them of something? no.

even if someone was being a dick or rude to a person, does that give that person the right to start punching/beating the other person? no

I dont know about FL laws but it is not illegal either to ignore 911's instructions. Should GZ have approached? in hindsight, obviously not. He called 911 like neighborhood watch is suppose to do. If his intentions were to have killed the TM I think the evidence would be there for that. Thug or not Kid didnt deserve to die, but the media has spun this case into the circus it is. Yes, this is real. George Zimmerman, the man acquitted of killing Trayvon Martin, has signed a contract with celebrity boxing match promotor Damon Feldman. And Feldman has delivered on his reputation for head-spinning matchups (see: Tonya Harding vs. a waitress) by selecting DMX as Zimmerman's opponent, TMZ reports. To break it down further: George Zimmerman will fight DMX.
As you can imagine, the list of people willing to fight Zimmerman was long. Among the 15,000 candidates was the rapper Game, who told TMZ: "I would not be boxing for me... I'd be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and his family." DMX also told TMZ that he wants to fight on behalf of "every black person who has been done wrong in the system...I am going to beat the living fuck out of him. I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I fuck him up right." He also threatened to piss on Zimmerman's face.
Details of the fight, which takes place on March 1, will be announced during a news conference next Wednesday.
