I guess if one has to be humilited, make it total, utter and public. The 0-3 night last night is the icing on this sh*tcake that has been this season so far. If this gets to -40 units, I will go back to the workshop on this for a few weeks.

As with the sides, I am being cautious on the Clipper game. Numbers call for a strong 2 Unit play, but brutal double OT loss maight have them coming out lethargic so I am only calling it a one Unit lean.

Coming into this thread after a night like this is about as much fun as walking barefoot in a room full of worms. Sides seem to be showing a BIT of a sign of life, but these totals are just sinking slowly into the kingdom of KOD.

Went into this with a 40 Unit bankroll and it is getting dangerously close to tapioca. If it does get to 40 I will shut down the totals and go back to the Excel drawing board.

As of now, I'm still going to stick it out though. It is the same exact formula the hit 58% last December and I am going to play it through to its conclusion.....even if that means bottoming out at -40 Units. Hopefully I will look back at this part of the thread next March and say.......well......no matter how good it gets from here on in the won't be ANYTHING good to day about these first few weeks.

I will post my plays tomorrow as usual.

As almost all teams have now played 20 games, first update of system is in effect tonight. This is the same change I made at game 21 last year. The first result is that more games have come out as plays.....and the DESIRED result is that more plays will come out as wins !! We will know soon enough. Since I am near my "limit" (and feeling a bit snakebit lately), I held the GS and MIN games down to 3 Units.....but the numbers actually call for 4 Unit plays on each of them.

I truly appreciate your support. I want this thing to turn around BADLY. I've learned a lot about the character (or lack thereof) of some of the posters here during this bad run.....one in particular......but most of the folks here are great and I hope to be able to continue doing this for a long time.

Bao....thanks for the post !! Glad to say we are still alive and kicking after an easy win last night. Hopefully the tide will indeed turn. This was a good start.

11 games tonight generating 5 plays. Once again we face extinction if the net is minus 3.7 or worse, so even more reason to hope this is a good night.

In any case, we are no longer threatened with extinction, but let's hope can can put even more distance between ourselves and Tapioca City after tonight.

Quite frankly I have no interest in your insincere congratulations.

Personally I couldn't care less whether or not you fade my plays......but starting a daily thread that is clearly based on fading me is far beyond obnoxious.

I do thank you for pointing out the mistake I made today in posting Orlando in my sides thread, but nevertheless I am going to ask you to kindly refrain from posting in my threads. I, of course, will not post in yours.

Well....Cashflowmatters did indeed post in the Rubber Room and (after some back & forth), it looks like the squabble has been settled between us. Hey mods....I hope you appreciate that we both respected the NBA forum and took our dispute where it belonged.

So that was ONE good thing that came out of yesterday.....the OTHER thing was that the totals went 4-1 for the second night in a row. The sight of Tapioca City is beginning to fade in the rear view mirror......but the smell has NOT gone away yet. Next stop: Mendoza line. Wouldn't it be nice if we could get there by New Years !!!

Bao....I hope you're right. In answer to your question, I have been doing this for three seasons. I was off to a very rough start this year. In fact you were there (not that long ago) when we went "all in" two days in a row. Since then we have shown Tapioca City our taillights. Last night we aded some distance going 3-0 and plus 6.0 units.

This brings the record to..........
