Zap: I know you post early and we all appreciate that, but do your plays take into consideration players noted as not playing? I have noticed several of these totals moving agianst your play which was very uncommon last year. For example NY/Atl closed at 195 1/2 and you played under 193 1/2. I am just curious and want to see the train turned in the right direction. Also what happened to Tater/Zapster agreed plays? They were $$ last year! Keep plugging my friend and lets start to put the train in right direction. Thanks CASH:suomi:

CFM........

My totals calculation does not take injuries into account. In the case of something major (like Indy last week) I just skip the team for a few games and see what kind of pace they are playing at with the new lineup.

You are right that the lines never used to move against me last year....and that is one of the reasons I post early. I like to believe this week has merely been an anomoly and things will normalize.....although I gotta tell ya......losing is getting pretty boring.

Still I am in this for the long haul and will continue to do this all season.....and I will continue this thread win or lose. I have hit in the 56% range pretty consistently over the past two seasons and it will take a lot more than a bad week to convince me that the system doesn't work.

As for Tater.....he and I still talk, but we have both been busy, so we haven't been able to coordinate our efforts (yet).

As for tonight.....it was another toughie going 3-4 and losing 2.6 Units so the record for the season is now 13-22 and minus 14.5 Units

All right then.........new month......let's see if the calender page turning gets this this rollin' (hey......I know I'm grasping at straws)

Three plays tonight....all of them overs......or as they say in Bensonhurst "It's all over."

Boston OVER 200.5 (Play) 2 Units
Orlando OVER 202.5 (Play) 2 Units
Sacramento OVER 188 (Play) 2 Units

Bonus question: How much did Brian hate the Romans ?? (hint: it equals how much I want to go three for three tonight)

Hakinen was right....and I hope CFM was right too. Sweep woulds been nice, but as Meatloaf says......two outta three ain't bad.

Brings the record to.....: 15-23 and minus 12.7 Units.

Just one game of interest tonight and it is just a one unit lean. I'm sure Friday will be far more entertaining.

Denver UNDER 186.5 (1 Unit) Lean

Yeah!

Considering the last 6 by Denver have ALL been Under (5 of which were at home), and Cleveland was the loser in a 221 point "track meet" with Phoenix last night and their legs must be tired, I'm all over this "lean" with a play. Thanks and GL!

Hit the lean last night, bringing the record to 16-23 and minus 11.7 Units.

Four games worthy of mention tonight. I am also going to start posting my calculated total (rounded off to the nearest half point) for each game. This is noteworthy because two of tonight's games are borderline, wherein if the line were a half point different, the play would be bigger. The way I have been differentiating (sp?) between my plays is based on the difference between my calculated total and the line.

6-10 (Lean)
10.5-15 (Play)
15.5-20 (Biggie)
20.5 or more (Zapsterater)

Tonight there is a game exactly at 10 and another one exactly at 15, so shop for your best line and adjust if appropriate. My posted plays are based on the best numbers out there at the time of posting.

Ok......here are tonight's numbers.....:

Boston OVER 204.5 (2 Units) Play - 219.5
Washington OVER 197.5 (1 Unit) Lean - 204
Lakerzzz UNDER 189 (2 Units) Play - 177
Suckramento UNDER 197 (1 Unit) Lean - 187

Split last night so the record is now 18-25 and minus 12.0 Units. It was nice to hit the Washington game right on the nose though with my projeced 204.

Note that a couple of the games tonight are borderline. See my last post because you may want to adjust your actual play depending on the line you are able to get. My posts always reflect the best available current number among the following books: Pinny, Olympic, Cascade, Skybook, Dime Player, Hollywood and WSEX.

Here are tonight's games in which I have a sporting interest.....:

Detroit OVER 171 (1 Unit) Lean - 177
San Antonio OVER 185 (1 Unit) Lean - 191.5
Dallas OVER 199 (1 Unit) Lean - 205
Golden State UNDER 184.5 (2 Units) Play - 174
Minnesota OVER 194 (1 Unit) Lean - 201.5
Seattle UNDER 187.5 (2 Units) Play - 177

Another bad night......not sure what else to say. Lost one by 1/2 point and won another because of OT, so luck seemingly evened out. Record is now 20-29 and minus 16.6 Units. Hopefully in a couple of weeks we can look back at this post as the lowpoint of the season.

No plays tonight.....I'm not quitting or taking the night off.....both games are too close to call.

Good luck to all......and to those of you who still check out this thread, thanks for the continued faith.

New low.....record is now 21-31 and minus 18.9 Units. But the biggest indication that things are amiss is that I had to go halfway down the second page of the NBA forum to find this thread !! Wasn't that way last year. Oh well....all I can do is keep plugging away. I know what this system is capable of. The number to the right is my calculated total for the game.

Here are today's playzzz......

Milwaukee OVER 189 (1 Unit) 196
Cleveland UNDER 177 (2 Units) 166.5
Phoenix UNDER 205.5 (1 Unit) 197

do you have those plays where you and tater agree like last year?

Do you follow your system strictly? How often do you stray away?

Bao.......

Tater and I have not started doing our agreed plays (yet). I didn't start posting totals until game 11 and he left for vacation shortly after that. Hopefully next week we can start posting those.

As for the system(s) (one for totals and now one for sides), I do follow them strictly. Straying can lead to bad things, as we all know :)

Zap: Pls understand I am not throwing stones , I was trying to say the system needs tweaking, something not right when your totals are rarely producing a winning night, for example tonight under in the NJ game and at 1/2 it is flying over, over in the Milw game and it is clunking under. I am also noticing how many of the games the line moves big time against your play or plays for what reason I do not know but the moves seem to be right. Example of this was the Phoenix game you liked under and the line jumped up 5pts. Hate to be a broken record but for some reason when you and Tater were on the same page you guys were $$, I think ya need to connect with him again and get this thing back were it belongs!
