Here's a nice underdog that will win for your tonight my friend!!!

3k Miami +140

Let’s go for a slight upset here. Kyle Hendricks has pitched well this year, but for some reason he doesn’t have the wins to show for them. Sometimes that is more than just bad luck, and maybe Hendricks doesn’t win the close ones. Koehler has won three straight starts and now he is pitching at home against a Cubs team who isn’t playing their best ball. Let’s take the Marlins in an upset on Friday.

Can't believe the Giants gave up 2 runs in the 8th inning to blow the run line easy cover.... see you all Saturday.

Here we go my friend....

3k Cleveland -1.5 +120

3k Cleveland Over 9 -112

I am going with the Indians and the over in this one. Sanchez has been brutal as a starter this season and I have no idea why the Tigers put him back in the rotation. Sanchez allowed 29 runs in his last six starts before he was demoted, and I cannot trust him. Carrasco has been the much better pitcher this season so I feel more comfortable siding with him. I like the over as Sanchez has an ERA just under six and Carrasco has a 6.02 ERA in his career against the Tigers, plus both teams’ offense have been hot, so I think we will see a lot of runs scored with Cleveland taking this one in a high scoring affair.

Almost the sweep but not..... no sweating out winner today my friends!!!!

FYI Twitter is not a great place to find honest winning capers as they can delete post if they want to
. If they were so good then why not post the play in there trend here @ therx and see how they do? They will take your money and flip a coin and give you a pick. No thought what-so-ever in there play that they give you and you should be sorry for yourself if you fall for their BS!!!

Here we go my friends....

3k NY Yankees Over 9.5 +110

Yes Eovaldi has been bad as of late, but the Yankees win when he is on the hill at home, and he hasn’t been as bad as Duffey who has a 9.23 ERA in his last seven starts, and he has a .311 opponent batting average this season, so the Yankees should be able to get to him. I really like the over as Eovaldi has struggled lately as well and we have two pitchers with an ERA over five and six respectively, so we should see plenty of runs in this one, and I think the Yankees come out on top in a high scoring affair.

3k Detroit Under 8.5 -104

I’ll look for a low scoring game in this one as both starters have had very good years and both are in very good form at the moment. Tomlin comes in with a solid 2.63 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP on the road so far, with his road starts averaging just 7.33 rpg, while Verlander has a very nice 3.12 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP at home, with those starts putting up 8.00 rpg. Yes both starters have not pitched as well in day games and both offenses are very good, but still it is hard to see these offenses tagging this pitching duo for a ton of runs. I look for 7 at most here.

3k Baltimore -129

Just can’t back the Rays right now as they are playing the worst baseball of the division and are taking on a Baltimore team that has been very strong at home this year. Drew Smyly has really struggled on the road this year and while Tyler Wilson is winless at home, he has been pitching better overall of late and has the stuff to keep a weak Tampa Bay offense down. Both teams are coming off a double-header so I will go with the team that has the far deeper bullpen and is playing at home where they have been strong. Take the Orioles in this one.

3k New York Mets -116

Colon continues to pitch terrific baseball, allowing only a combined seven runs in his last 5 starts, plus he tossed eight shutout innings to the Braves earlier this season so I feel very confident backing him. Also the Mets lineup is hitting a combined .296 against Norris and they scored four runs off him in four innings the first time they saw him, so the Mets offense should get to Norris in this one.

Here we go my friends....

3k Chicago Cubs -1.5 -130

I am siding with Arrieta and the Cubs in this match up. Arrieta is 7-0 on the road this season and he has only allowed a combined six earned runs in his last five starts, plus he threw a complete game shutout to the Reds in April, so I am very confident siding with Arrieta. Also Straily has struggled lately, surrendering ten runs in his last two starts and he has allowed five runs in seven inning pitched to the Cubs this season so I am confident the Cubs offense can get to him, continuing their dominance against the Reds in this one.

Other Plays:

3k LA Angels -119

3k Cleveland
Under 8 -120

Here we go my friends....

3k Chicago Cubs -1.5 -138

Lester has pretty well dominated Cincinnati this season and he’s 5-1 with a 1.83 ERA on the road in 2016. Lamb, meanwhile, is 0-2 at home but does have a solid 3.58 ERA. Cubs win something like 4-2. Chicago is 11-3 in his past 14 vs. a lefty starter. The Reds are 1-4 in their past five vs. a southpaw.

Chicago
is:

  • Cubs are 5-0 in Lester’s last 5 road starts vs. a team with a losing record.
  • Cubs are 5-1 in Lester’s last 6 starts during game 2 of a series.
  • Cubs are 5-1 in Lester’s last 6 starts.
  • Cubs are 13-3 in Lester’s last 16 starts vs. a team with a losing record.
  • Cubs are 4-1 in Lester’s last 5 starts following a Quality Start in his last appearance.
  • Cubs are 4-1 in Lester’s last 5 starts vs. National League Central.
Cincinnati is:

  • Reds are 1-4 in Lamb’s last 5 home starts vs. a team with a winning record.
  • Reds are 1-4 in Lamb’s last 5 starts vs. National League Central.
  • Reds are 1-5 in Lamb’s last 6 starts vs. a team with a winning record.
  • Reds are 1-7 in Lamb’s last 8 home starts.

3k St Louis -110

One has to wonder if the shelling that Volquez took in his last start will linger here. The Royals have been inconsistent as they continue to deal with injuries both in the lineup and the rotation. Martinez has left the Cardinals in prime position to win in each of his last two starts. The bullpen didn’t do their part, turning those games into losses. Mike Matheny made the change at closer as Trevor Rosenthal was removed from the role over the weekend. We’ll see if the Cardinals can come up with a solution. Either way, St. Louis has the weapons and the experience to get the win here.

3k Baltimore -1.5 -1.5 +115

You can throw the momentum the Padres had from winning three of four on the road out the window. There is a world of difference between beating the Reds and beating the Orioles. Sure, the Padres pulled that off once last week but it wasn’t with Johnson pitching. Baltimore has a lot of power in their lineup and a very good bullpen to boot. Jimenez had his best start in six or seven weeks against the Padres. Look for Baltimore to ride their powerful lineup and their bullpen to get the win in this contest. If Jimenez has success, it’s a bonus!!!

Here we go my friends.....

3k Minnesota Under 9 -106

Neither offense has been that good this year overall and that has me looking at the Under here. Rodon does have a 4.34 ERA at home this year, but his home starts have averaged just 6.57 rpg and we have a Minnesota team that has averaged just 2.67 rpg in Milone’s three road starts this year, plus Minnesota has hit just .210 vs lefties away from home. Milone has a 5.51 ERA on the road, but the White Sox have hit just .222 vs lefties in their last 10 games and just .234 vs them at home. I see the pitching winning out in this one.

3k San Francisco -1.5 +117

The A’s took a pair on the road against the Giants and have a shot to win the series. The problem for Oakland is that they’re throwing a rookie pitcher against the ace of the Giants rotation. Bumgarner has dropped his last two but pitched well enough to win in both of those games. Facing a guy with a sub-2 ERA is a daunting task for any team. For a young A’s team that struggles to put runs on the board, it’s a death knell. Bumgarner gets the win and the Giants prevail.
