Love playing the dogs in the lower conferences and missed on this on tonight, here are my results.....

Appalachian State will look to assert its dominance over Louisiana Lafayette from the first snap of the game. A potent Mountaineer rushing attack will square off against an equally capable Ragin’ Cajun run defense. Taylor Lamb will be the x-factor in this game. If he is able to spread the ball around and create plays with his feet, Appalachian State should walk away victorious. However, if the Ragin’ Cajuns can limit big plays from Lamb and company, as well as come up with key third down stops, the momentum could begin to swing in favor of the home team.

Cincinnati will have to get going on offense if it wants to keep up with the Patriots, as Brady wasted no time getting back in business in Week 5. The Bengals are 1-4-2 ATS in their last seven overall and 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings between the two teams. The Patriots are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five at home.

If there was some good news for the Panthers during Monday’s struggle with the Buccaneers, it was that tight end Greg Olsen recorded a career-high 181 receiving yards receiving on nine catches and running back Cameron Artis-Payne scored a pair of touchdowns. As for the Saints, quarterback Drew Brees should have Armstead back on the field and providing protection up front. Brees has thrown for 1,269 yards through four outings to go along with 10 touchdowns and just three interceptions. The over is 15-7 in the Panthers’ last 22 overall and 14-5 in their last 19 on the road. It is also 5-2 in the Saints’ last seven overall and 5-0 in their last five at home. Additionally, the over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings between the two teams and 4-1 in Carolina’s last five trips to New Orleans.

Here a look at today's mid day picks..... 2 huge (Vegas Source Plays) going in the late action!!!!

7k (Vegas Source) Green Bay -5.5 -108

The Cowboys have been nearly unstoppable on offense, particularly on the ground, where they have the No. 1 rushing DVOA and three straight games of at least 180 rushing yards. They'll face their biggest test yet, as the Packers have yet to allow more than 50 yards on the ground in a game and are getting plus run defender Mike Pennel back from suspension. The game could rest upon Dak Prescott's shoulders, and he may have to be perfect yet again for the Cowboys to win this one. I think Aaron Rodgers gets on track here with Orlando Scandrick expected to miss the game.

7k (Vegas Source) Kansas City -2 -105

Derek Carr is looking like an MVP candidate, leading the Raiders to a 4-1 record while playing four shootouts and winning three of them. However, they face a quality Chiefs team that's coming off the bye after stewing for two weeks about getting blown off the field in Pittsburgh. With the Chiefs getting healthier and proving to be a good defensive team against non-Steelers opponents, I think this game comes down to each team's rushing attack and defense. The Raiders have been great on the ground, but with their defense struggling, the Chiefs score some points here and do enough on defense to win.

5k Atlanta +7 -102

There is no stopping this Falcons offense which leads the NFL in most offensive categories, and they were still able to score 23 points against Denver’s dominant defense, so I am confident they can put up points in this one as well. Also, the Seattle offense hasn’t been as productive as expected and while they will put up points against the Falcons defense, I am confident Atlanta will be able to match Seattle’s offensive output. Wilson’s mobility will still be limited even after a bye week as he deals with an ankle and knee injury. The Seahawks defense has yet to see an offense as strong as the Falcons, and I definitely expect Atlanta to hang around in this one.

With the Chiefs getting healthier and proving to be a good defensive team against non-Steelers opponents, I think this game comes down to each team's rushing attack and defense. The Raiders have been great on the ground, but with their defense struggling, the Chiefs score some points here and do enough on defense to win.

7k (Vegas Source) Green Bay -5.5 -108 (Lost)

The Cowboys have been nearly unstoppable on offense, particularly on the ground, where they have the No. 1 rushing DVOA and three straight games of at least 180 rushing yards. They'll face their biggest test yet, as the Packers have yet to allow more than 50 yards on the ground in a game and are getting plus run defender Mike Pennel back from suspension. The game could rest upon Dak Prescott's shoulders, and he may have to be perfect yet again for the Cowboys to win this one. I think Aaron Rodgers gets on track here with Orlando Scandrick expected to miss the game.

5k Atlanta +7 -102 (Easy Winner 24-26)

There is no stopping this Falcons offense which leads the NFL in most offensive categories, and they were still able to score 23 points against Denver’s dominant defense, so I am confident they can put up points in this one as well. Also, the Seattle offense hasn’t been as productive as expected and while they will put up points against the Falcons defense, I am confident Atlanta will be able to match Seattle’s offensive output. Wilson’s mobility will still be limited even after a bye week as he deals with an ankle and knee injury. The Seahawks defense has yet to see an offense as strong as the Falcons, and I definitely expect Atlanta to hang around in this one.

5k Houston -3 -105 (Push 26-23)

While everyone is down on Brock Osweiler, let's remember his two worst performances and the Texans' only two losses were at Minnesota and at New England, two of the best defenses in the league on the road. I think Osweiler will be fine at home where Houston has gone 3-0 and covered all three. Houston has also gone 6-0 ATS in its last six against AFC South teams. The Colts just struggle too much and Andrew Luck has been sacked a league-high 20 times. Their defense is also one of the NFL's worst and they could easily be 0-5.
