WEDNESDAY RESULTS (2-3) -$9,250

Boston falls apart late in the 8th inning...... was way wrong on the Pirates game as well....

AUGUST 10TH PLAY OF THE DAY

7k Boston -1.5 +110 (Lost)

I like the Red Sox in this one. The Red Sox lineup is hitting a combined .343 in 143 at bats against Eovaldi, plus he has a 4.60 career ERA against Boston so I think the Red Sox offense will have no problem plating multiple runs. Also, Pomeranz allowed just one run in seven innings to the Yankees earlier this season and has dominated the Yankees, allowing only 3 runs (two earned) in 16 career innings pitched against them. Look for Pomeranz to finally get his first win in a Red Sox uniform in this one.

OTHER GAMES:

5k Washington -123 (
Easy Blowout Winner 7-4)

I like the Nationals in this match up. Gonzalez has been solid as of late, sporting a sparkling 2.03 ERA in his last five starts, and he has a dominating 5-0 record with a 1.07 ERA in his career against Cleveland, so I am very confident siding with him. Also Tomlin hasn’t been effective lately, posting a 5.90 ERA in his last five starts, so the Nationals should score some runs in this one, notching the home victory.

5k Chicago Cubs -1.5 +120 (Easy Winner 3-1)

Nolasco has a good track record against the Cubs but it’s important to note that he hasn’t faced them in three years. This is a completely different Chicago team than the one he beat up on earlier in his career. Hammel has wins in his last four starts and is well rested. The Cubs are rolling over teams the last couple of weeks. Playing at home proved the tonic that cured what ailed the team right before the All Star break. Chicago wins this one and prepares for a four game set with the Cardinals.

5k Pittsburgh -160 (Lost)
5k Pittsburgh Over 9 -105 (Lost)

Jackson was sharp last time out, but that’s more the exception to the rule in his career of late. The Pirates also are much better offensively than the Padres. San Diego is 5-11 in its past 16 in Game 2 of a series. The over is 5-1 in Vogelsong’s past six on five days of rest.

SO FAR TODAY (3-1) 75% +$13,350

Looking at a possible play or two in the night action.... all preseason football purchases receive the rest of baseball
FREE!!! You do like making money don't you???

AUGUST 11TH PLAY OF THE DAY

7k Houston GM1 -108 (Super Easy Blowout Winner 15-7)

I am siding with Houston in this one. Berrios has allowed a whopping 24 runs in 26 innings pitched this season with a .298 opponent batting average, so I am confident the Astros offense can do big damage against the rookie. Also Fister has a solid 3.10 ERA in his career against Minnesota and has only allowed one run in his last 12 innings pitched so I am confident he can silence the Twins offense. I would even recommend taking the Astros on the run line in this one.

5k Milwaukee -122
(Super Easy Blowout Winner 11-3)

I am going with the Brewers in this one. Garza has been solid, allowing a combined six runs in his last three starts, so I am confident he can limit the damage to the Braves weak offense. Also Hernandez put up a 4.60 ERA in the Minors this season, and I doubt he goes deep in this game, giving the Brewers a shot at the Braves bullpen. Look for the Brewers to score some runs in this one, with a solid performance coming from Garza.

5k Cleveland -2.5 +130
(Super Easy Blowout Winner 14-4)

The Indians need this series in the worst way, especially if their hope to keep the Tigers at bay in the division and I like them to start out the series with a solid win here. The Indians pitching has been suspect of late, but Corey Kluber should have a solid outing vs a struggling Angels offense. The Indians have been a very strong offensive club at home and should be able to rock Jhoulys Chacin, who has really struggled this year with a 5.87 ERA in his 15 starts so far. This one could be easy for the Tribe.

OTHER PLAYS:

5k St Louis Under 9 +105 (Easy Winner 7 Runs)

FRIDAY RESULTS (1-3) -$14,900

Not a great night..... I do have bad night just like anyone else...

5k Chicago Cubs -1.5 +110 (Super Easy Blowout Winner 13-2)

Arrieta is 4-3 with a 1.71 ERA in 10 starts at Wrigley Field this year. Wainwright, meanwhile, has struggled away from home with a 4-3 record and 5.94 ERA. The Cubs are 4-1 in Arrieta’s past five at home vs. the Cardinals.

7k Colorado -1.5
+125 (Lost)

Will Thompson still have the butterflies, especially in his home debut? I think we will see Gray back to his dominating form against the lousy Philadelphia offense. The Rockies are 4-0 in their past four against teams with a losing record.

5k Toronto -125 (Lost)

I am taking the Blue Jays in this match up. This will be the second time the Blue Jays have seen Musgrove and I think they will make some adjustments and put some runs on the board, as I can’t trust the rookie against this powerful Blue Jays offense. Also, Houston struggles against left handed pitching, hitting just .236 off lefties, plus Liriano looked good in his first start in a Toronto uniform so I am confident he can limit the damage to the Astros offense leading his team to victory.

5k Miami -133 (Lost)

Going with the Marlins in this one. Both teams are not playing well, but the Marlins are still fighting for a wildcard slot, which the White Sox are well out of playoff contention. Andrew Cashner gets the nod here over Carlos Rodon and while both teams struggle to score, I would have to give the Miami offense the edge in this one, because they have one of the highest team batting averages in the league. Rodon is struggling right now overall and has bad inter league numbers. Take the Fish in this one.

SATURDAY RESULTS (3-4) -$1,130

BASEBALL PLAY OF THE WEEK (DOCUMENTED) (14-5) 74% +$48,090

Hope you all had a great night.... here are my results from Saturday.

PLAY OF THE WEEK

7k Toronto -1.5 +136 (Winner 4-2) +9520

Going to look for an easy win by the Blue Jays here, The Astros had a fun time in Minnesota, bat are facing a much tougher pitching staff in this series. The Astros will send out Collin McHugh in this one and he has an 8.59 ERA in his last three starts and has not pitched well on the road overall. The Blue Jays high powered offense should have a field day with him here as they score enough runs to win by at least four.

PLAY OF THE DAY

5k Minnesota Over
9.5 +102 (Lost 8 Runs)

Tyler Duffey has been horrible this year, especially at home with his 7.22 ERA and even this bad Kansas City offense should have success vs him. On the flip side we have a solid Minnesota offense that has been scoring at home of late and will take at at Dillon Gee and his 6.08 ERA as a starter this year. I can see plenty of runs in this one, especially with the horrid pitching that will be on display here.

REGULAR PLAYS:

5k Boston -1.5 +100 (Easy Winner 6-3)

5k Boston Over 10.5 +101 (Lost 9 Runs)

I am going with the Red Sox however my stronger play is on the over. Bradley has a 4.80 ERA with a career ERA over five so the Red Sox should put some crooked numbers on the board and I will take their deep offense over the Arizona offense. I really like the over as Bradley is bound to give up runs, and Buchholz has struggled big time this season with a 5.80 ERA at home, and he will give up runs, however I will side with the Red Sox and their offense as I think they come away with a win in a very high scoring ball game.

5k Miami -1.5 +132 (Lost 7-8)

I like the Marlins in this match up. Shields has been a roller coaster, and has allowed 14 runs in his last two starts, plus has a 6.39 ERA on the road so I am definitely staying away from him. Conley on the other hand has been excellent at home where he has a 2.88 ERA, plus he had a 2.14 ERA over his last six starts before his previous outing so I am confident he can contain the White Sox offense, leading his team to victory.

MORE REGULAR PLAYS:

SATURDAY RESULTS (3-4) -$1,130

BASEBALL PLAY OF THE WEEK (DOCUMENTED) (14-5) 74% +$48,090

Hope you all had a great night.... here are my results from Saturday.

PLAY OF THE WEEK

7k Toronto -1.5 +136 (Winner 4-2)

SUNDAY RESULTS (3-2) 60% +$4,800

BASEBALL PLAY OF THE WEEK (DOCUMENTED) (14-5) 74% +$48,090

See you all Monday my friends.....

7k Colorado +103 (Lost 6-7)

The Rockies are a remarkable 9-1 in Chatwood’s last 10 starts on the road. Adam Morgan is 1-7 on the year. If we add those two stats together, it’s a 16-2 mark. Morgan got shelled by the Rockies in his last start, and I don’t see any reason why that would change. Citizen’s Bank Park is just as much a hitter’s park as Coors Field, and I expect the Rockies to beat up Morgan again. Let’s take the Rockies on the road.

5k Toronto -1.5 +136 (Easy Blowout Winner 9-2)

I am taking the Blue Jays in this one. Stroman has looked much better in his last few starts, and held the Astros to just one run in seven innings earlier this month so I am confident siding with him. Fiers has been abysmal on the road this season where he has a 5.96 ERA with a .310 opponent batting average, so the Blue Jays offense should do some damage off him in this contest.

5k Milwaukee -115 (
Easy Blowout Winner 7-3)

I am taking the Brewers in this one. Although Peralta has been bad, he has good numbers against Milwaukee, posting 3.14 career ERA, plus the Brewers lineup is only hitting .226 off him, so I am confident he can limit the damage to the Reds offense. Also Reed was good his last start, but he has allowed four or more runs in six out of his nine starts this season, so I wouldn’t feel comfortable siding with him and his ERA which is over six.

5k Kansas City Over 9 (Easy Blowout Winner 15 Runs)

The Twins have played many high scoring games, especially here at home where their games have averaged 9.8 rpg and the over is 38-20-2 on the year. Both starters are struggling and the offenses should be able to take advantage of that and hit these guys hard. Santiago has a 7.044 ERA in his career in the park and Volquez has a 6.51 ERA on the road this year. This one should be fun.

5k Chicago WS -1.5 +115 (Lost4-5)

The Marlins entered the weekend with a slim edge for the last wild card spot in the National League. Injuries are taking their toll though. The team needs to start picking up wins again to break away from the logjam of teams battling for that spot. Sale is winless in his last five but it isn’t entirely his fault. The bullpen and shoddy offense are responsible as well. He snaps that slide and sends the White Sox out of town with a win in the last game of the set.

MONDAY RESULTS (1-4) -$17,050

BASEBALL PLAY OF THE WEEK (DOCUMENTED) (14-5) 74% +$48,090

Here are my results.... hope you had a better night then me my friend!!!

5k Toronto -108 (Lost 0-1)

The last six or seven weeks of the season are a prime opportunity for the Yankees to see how their young talent adjusts. Sure, New York is still within 4.5 games of the last wild card spot in the AL but it is clear they waved the white flag at the deadline. Toronto is in a three way battle with Baltimore and Boston for the top spot in the AL East. Dickey is a major player the Blue Jays are counting on the last couple months of the regular season. Green’s ping pong season continues between Triple-A and the majors but Toronto gets the win.

OTHER REGULAR PLAYS:

5k Seattle -134 (Winner 3-2)

The Angels are losers in each of their last nine. After a quick start after the All Star break, the Angels fell solidly into last place in the AL West. Seattle is in the midst of a race for the last wild card spot in the AL. They need to pick up wins over teams that are below .500 and throwing King Felix here works in their favor. Seattle gets the victory in the opening game of the set.

5k Cincinnati
+118 (Lost 3-6)

The Marlins need this game and this series in the worst way, but they are hurting, especially on offense with the loss of Giancarlo Stanton. He was the bulk of their offense and now the Marlins must face a Cincinnati staff that has been pitching much better of late. The Reds as a team have been playing better and they will relish the role of spoiler as they take out the Marlins in this one.
5k New York Mets +107 (Lost 6-10)

As a guy who is starting to feel his age, let’s go with the old guy on Monday. I’m definitely closer to Colon’s age than Ray’s, and plus, Colon is the
better pitcher this year. This game means more to the Mets as well, and I think they win a close one.

5k San Francisco -133 (Lost 5-8)

The Giants always seem to bounce back from losses, even one that was as horrific as Sunday’s. Pittsburgh is hanging tough but Vogelsong is not even the short-term answer. Pittsburgh has never faced Moore, who is tough to hit, especially for teams that have faced him before.

TUESDAY RESULTS (3-1) 75% +$12,800

BASEBALL PLAY OF THE WEEK (DOCUMENTED) (14-5) 74% +$48,090

Hope you all had a great night as well my friend!!!

PLAY OF THE DAY

7k Cleveland -1.5 +125 (Winner 3-1)

This has the makings of a pitchers’ duel as both starters are lights out over the last month or so. The difference in the ball game comes down to offensive production. Simply put, the White Sox don’t generate much in the way of offense. Meanwhile, Cleveland pumps out runs even with key pieces missing from their lineup. Kluber, a winner in each of his last three starts, makes it four straight starts with a W.

OTHER PLAYS

5k Toronto -125 (Super Easy Blowout Winner 12-6)

I am going with the Blue Jays in this match up. Estrada has been very consistent this season, allowing three or fewer earned runs in all but two starts this season, plus he has beaten the Yankees both times he’s seen them this season, allowing just three runs in 15 innings, so he should be able to shut them down again. Also Pineda can’t be trusted against this Blue Jays deep lineup, as his disastrous season continues with an ERA over five, so I think Toronto will do some damage against him.

5k Detroit -119 (Lost 1-6)

I’m starting to believe a little bit in these Tigers. The Indians are loaded, but the Tigers just keep plugging away, and I’m sure they would be a fine with a wild card spot. Verlander has had his beast season in a few years, and we all know he’s a big game pitcher. I think every start in would be considered that, so I expect him to pitch well on Tuesday. Let’s take the Tigers.

5k St Louis +1.5 -140 (
Su Blowout Winner 8-5)

Going with the Cardinals, who have been a very good road team this year and they are also a very good late season team. The Astros are not out of the playoff race, but they aren’t playing well right now. St Louis has a great shot at a wildcard slot and come in with some momentum after taking the final two games of their series with the Cubs. This one should go the way of the Cardinals.

BASEBALL PLAY OF THE WEEK (DOCUMENTED) (14-5) 74% +$48,090

Not a bad night my friend, and I hope yours was just as well. May I share with you a word to the wise (before you lose all your hard earned money my friend) there in no "
magic computer program" or "chase system" out there that will make you boat loads of money long term so don't waste your time with all there BS. Different user name and the same BS system chase lol!!!

*AUGUST 17TH PLAY OF THE DAY*

*7k Tampa Bay -1.5 +100 (Winner 2-0)

5k Tampa Bay Over 7.5 -105 (Lost 2 Runs)

I like the Rays in this contest. Archer has a stifling 2.91 ERA at home this season, and overall he’s a much better pitcher than Friedrich so I will take my chances with Archer, Also Friedrich has really been struggling, posting a weak 6.03 ERA over his last seven starts, and he has allowed four more or more in seven out of his last ten starts, so he is bound to go give up some runs in this one. I would even take the Rays on the run line to get more value.

OTHER PLAYS:

5k LA Dodgers Over 9 -105 (Push 9 Runs)

5k LA Dodgers -1.5 +100 (Easy Blowout Winner 7-2)

Kazmir is unbeaten on the road with a 5-0 mark despite a not-great 4.88 ERA. But Thompson is likely to be shaky again. L.A. is 5-2 in its past seven road games vs. a right-handed starter. The over is 6-1 in the Dodgers’ past seven games. It is 4-0 in the Phillies’ past four vs. a lefty.

5k Cincinnati -114 (Winner 3-2)

I Like the Reds here. The only thing they have to play for is being role of spoiler and they have a wound Marlins team here that is fighting to get in the playoffs. The Reds can do some damage vs them in this series, especially vs Andrew Cashner, who has been horrible since being traded for. Homer Bailey hasn’t pitched that badly this year and he has good numbers lifetime vs the Marlins. Look for him to have a big game here, while the offense does the rest vs a struggling Cashner.

5k Chicago Cubs -1.5 -125 (
Easy Blowout Winner 6-1)

The Cubs had a couple of bad games to end the series with the Cardinals, but this is a team they can and should whip. These teams played a doubleheader on Tuesday and the Cubs have far more depth to be able to bounce back and still perform at a high level. Jimmy Nelson has been hit hard of late, while Jon Lester has been very hot. Edges all around for the Cubs and they should win this one by at least three runs. Take Chicago on the run line.

5k Oakland +192 (Lost)

This game is a tough call but I am going to take my chances with Oakland in this one. Manea has been outstanding against the Rangers this season, allowing just six runs in 17 innings pitched, with an 1-0 record. Also Darvish struggles against Oakland, going 1-8 with a 4.76 career ERA against them, so they should be able to score some runs off him. I think the Athletics steal this one on the road.

THURSDAY RESULTS (2-3) -$5,250

BASEBALL PLAY OF THE WEEK (DOCUMENTED) (14-5) 74% +$48,090

Here we go my friend.....

AUGUST 18TH PLAY OF THE DAY

7k Cleveland -1.5 +107 (Lost 5-4)

The Cleveland Indians are the far better team here and while Carlos Rodon has had good numbers vs the Tribe in his career, I see him struggling in this one vs a very good offense that has been outstanding at home, especially vs Lefties as they have hit .285 off of them here at home. Danny Salazar is just off the DL and he struggled before going on it, but this is a very weak White Sox offense that he will be facing and have solid numbers vs them in his career. Look for an easy win by the Indians in this one.

OTHER PLAYS:

5k Arizona -105 (Lost 8-9)

I am taking Arizona in this match up. Bradley is a much better pitcher on the road where he has a 3.73 ERA, so I am confident backing him against the Padres cold offense. Also Clemens has a 4.82 ERA as a starter this season, and he has not pitched past the fifth inning in any of his starts this season, meaning the Diamondbacks will see a lot of the Padres weak bullpen, so I think they will have no issues scoring runs in this one.

5k Washington -135 (Easy Blowout Winner 8-2)

The Nats are the clear play here. Both starters are very round in their MLB careers and both have struggled in the Bigs so far, but still I give Reynaldo Lopez the Nod over Robert Whalen. Lopez is one of the top prospects in all of baseball and he will be able to shut down a very weak Braves offense. The Nats have the clear edge on offense and they have been a very strong road team this year, while the Braves are the worst home team in the league. The Nats keep rolling with a solid win in this one.

5k Kansas City -105 (
Easy Blowout Winner 8-1)

The Twins are dead in the water, regardless of what they do the last six weeks of the season. Kansas City had a shot to get back to .500 Wednesday after six wins in their last seven. The Royals have faint hopes of the last wild card spot in the American League. They entered Wednesday six games behind Baltimore and Boston, who were tied for the last spot. The Royals are the better, more experienced team. They get the victory here.

3k Milwaukee
+262 (Lost)

Let’s take a long shot here and go with the Brewers. Zach Davies has been very good lately and that includes a win over the Cubs in the last month, where he pitched brilliantly. As good as Jake Arrieta has been, the Cubs lost five of his last seven starts at home. Let’s take the Brewers.
