I did not ignore communication from either Lapdance or Whalewager. I confirmed the wager via IM to Whalewager and then again when I posted in that thread. I have not received any email from WW or Lapdance.
I have taken a lot of abuse over this bet. I did not feel like I wanted everyone rubbing this bet in my face everytime I posted which is what was happening so I decided to ignore that forum entirely.
I would have gladly taken a buy out before the Spurs series and even requested through WW for lapdance to contact me. He did not choose to do so. I have been away for very personal reasons and today was my first time reading EOG or the Rx in some time.
It may have been a dick move to ignore the forum, but Laptop has been a dick to me for some time as well as many of the posting members there. It is not my responsibility to keep everyone informed of my personal whereabouts. The bet was finalized. The bet should be honored. posters seem to make bets with other posters based on the idea that they are going to win. if the bet turns sour, ESPECIALLY if the posters dont like each other, the guy in trouble takes it personally. Its harder to lose in public than to a sportsbook.
