The Eurobasket 2011 will be played in Lithuania at the end of August. Spain (with the Gasols, Ricky Rubio), Lithuania and Serbia are the favorites to win.

Question for Darkstar77 and Varkeyboy. You are both in Chicago. Do you know each other?

Which books did you use to play these international games?

Darkstar77,
Does your local have lines for all international games?

Can you get lines for the friendlies and the Asian women's FIBA going on this week?

He doesn't actually set lines but if there is a line for anything he takes the action. Do any sites offer lines for those gms?

Everything ok after the earthquake?

I'm OK. The earthquake occured while I was posting here earlier today. I wasn't sure what was happening. I went outside and saw all the neighbors talking about it. We figured it was an earthquake.

Cameroon vs. Angola

Cameroon vs. Angola (Africa FIBA)
Thursday August 25, 2011
#655

Cameroon +6.5

In the main game on Thursday, Cameroon will face Angola. The Cameroonians are undefeated and are coming off an 85-52 demolition of Togo in the last 16.

Parfait Bitee (played at Rhode Island) is Cameroon's star player. Other notable names in the squad are Franck Ndongo, Gaston Essengué and former UCLA Bruin Alfred Aboya.

Angola, meanwhile, is determined to win the FIBA Africa crown for the seventh straight time despite losing to Senegal earlier in the tournament. Out to lead the 10-time champions are Carlos Morais, two-time tournament MVP Joaquim Gomes and young center Valdélicio Joaquim.

Angola, however, will be no longer be coached by Michel Gomez tonight. The Frenchman was fired following the team’s sluggish performance in the group stage and Round-of-16. Assistant coach Jaime Covilha has been named as his temporary replacement.

Angola could step up and win easily but I like Cameroon +6.5.

Looks like the game is at 8pm local time which would be 2pm central time if I'm doing the math correctly.
