Well, as you said, Norway did score. ;-)

I cannot watch the game but if Bet365's scorecast is correct than Norway has a 6-0 advantage in cornerkicks which would indicate field superiority. This is not the case?

Does anyone else think that Brazil +1/2 is a gift? Sure, there's some chalk with it, but the US women haven't really convinced me of anything this tournament and Brazil has been firing on all cylinders.

Brazil's defensive shortcomings have not been exploited by the teams they've faced but will be by the US. No doubt that Brazil have the best duo in women's soccer but the other 9 do nothing for me. The US made Kelly Smith invisible and can do the same to Marta. IMO, benching Solo for Scurry is a brilliant move as Solo has been very shaky and Scurry "owns" Brazil

I think, as rolltide mentioned, that Bra-nil is suspect in defense and the US women will get the job done. Not sure what to make of Scurry getting the call in-goal, but she is a solid battle-tested vet.

i am looking at the over here.
i agree that USA should score against Brazil, but also Brazil should be able to get a goal here. US defense has also shown weknesses and to be honest to shut down England was not much of a deal once you shut down Smith

Fair comment w/ regards to England's offense, chris.

I can't say that USA's def. has been suspect so far. I think Markgraf has struggled somewhat as well as Lopez, but nothing to get too worried over. They might give up a goal to Bra-nil - Marta is a special player - but won't give up the result.

i totally agree and will also make it a play now

USA- Brazil: USA pk,-0.5 @ 1.95 !! 2 units!! and over 2.5 @1.95

Brazil won 3-2 against Australia..i have not seen the match, but conceiding 2 goals vs. Australia is not a good sign. Also in history USA almost always win vs. Brazil..and that count something in the women game as the real big team seem to prevail on the big stage ..always

I see at least 2 goals for the US..hopefully that s enough for the over also

i think the red card can safely go down as the worst call in history

nice match from both teams really...good pace, lots of offense. US own goal was a killer and Scurry could have played the 2nd goal a bit better. Yet the US never really looked out of the game until this stoppage time red card where, from all angles, the Brazilian (if anything) tripped the US girl from behind. Seemed that she thought the yellow was coming out for her and when shown to the American, started pumping her fists. Brutal, awful, terrible call and this match is over

Worst case scenario for the US.

Down 2-0 on own goal and a soft goal. Then down a woman off poor officiating. This prob. will end up 4-1 Brazil, though I have enough faith...not in Coach Ryan but the players...that they can still get even in regular time.

This will cost Ryan his job if this score holds up.

First good coaching move for this match as Ryan has sub'd D Lopez for M Lloyd.

3-0 now ... oh well. really awful to see a semifinal changed by the ref but Brazil was playing good football before then. US had some really good chances before going down to 10 but are completely lost now.

I expect them to regroup and win the consolation game over Norway but good chance the coach is let go. Not subbing Wamabach in game 1 was going to be the last straw if they failed to win the tourney, IMO.

US under GK Solo only gave up two goals - both to N. Korea in the 10 min. Wambach was getting stitches for her injury. I can see not subbing for your best player. This last move and subsequent loss has to dictate a coaching change.

Julie Foudy was commentating that Ryan was considering starting Scurry in goal when she won minding the net in their last match v. Brazil. Classic example of a coach overthinking and undermining his own players. Greg Ryan's 50 game unbeaten streak has come to an end. :WTF:
