Well, hell! LOL! So, did anything interesting happen? Was there some emergency, like I predicted...though my prediction was after the fact? This reminds me of Schrodinger's cat!!!

My level of interest in the stunt shows, I guess. I had no idea it was last night. LOL! Oh well.... tulsa

No, there wasn't an emergency. Around the 7 minute mark they could tell that he wasn't going to make it and small bubbles started to surface so they dove in and brought him up. Wasn't really all that dramatic. It was never an emergency situation. He was fully conscious. He walked himself off the bubble very slowly with some help and then addressed the crowd, thanked everybody and broke down in tears. That was about it. He didn't break the record, no emergency and I don't think it was an illusion. I'm sure they may have treated the water to make it easier in some ways, but he was actually holding his breath.

All of David Blaine's stuff is illusions...this guy is no more a magician than anyone you see in Vegas he's just much more shrewd when it comes to marketing himself.

i dont think being under water for over 7 minutes was an illusion.

i'll give the guy his props .. i couldnt do it.. not that i would want to.

some of his card tricks are pretty damn good..

i've solved a couple of his other stunts. the glass breaking in the middle of the table and the untied shoe trick..

So was it an illusion that he was submerged in water for 9 days? :icon_conf I'd say he's a "daredevil" in addition to being an illusionist. This stunt fell under the heading of daredevil.

world number one - care to take a stab at the cellphone/card trick?

sure they had the water treated to help him out but rather than knock someone having a go at something at least he tried

by the way i dont think when he was swimming with the sharks that was an illusion - he had a body suit on to make sure no blood or open sores where in the water for the sharks to sense - he was trying to keep his emotions under check to help in this stunt

the broken wine glass on the table was during one of his street magic shows.

he walks up to 3 or 4 women at an outside cafe and tells them he can break a glass with his mind .

they all sit down around the table and he puts a 1/4 full glass of wine in the middle of table .

they all stare at the glass .

if you watch his face you will see him make a grimace look . what he did was shoot a little pee out of a tube from inside his mouth right at the glass to make it shatter.

you have to watch his face and not the glass ..

the shoe lace thing i talked about earlier . they never showed his hands and he did it in front of a bunch of little kids..

Nobody in their right mind would think the tricks he does is some sort of magic. There is a scientific explanation for everything he does - that's a given. But I have little doubt that he was in that bowl of water for a week and did hold his breath for 7 minutes. Nothing "magical" about that.
