If you mean an avatar under your posting name then:

The administrator may also have enabled custom avatars, which allows you to upload an avatar image from your computer.

The box above will allow you to use one of the 100 or so stock avatars we have in our data base. If you want something special post a description of it in this thread and when I check back I will find something as close as possible for you and make it your avatar.

To post a picture in the body of a post:

You need to left click on this ICON at top of post box when you have your mouse mark where you want the pic to post:

. That will open to a larger box that says "please enter the URL of your image". You then have to right click on the image or picture you want to post. That will display a large box at the bottom will be the word properties, you have to right click on the word properties and copy the URL address to your mouse and paste it into an empty rectangle shaped box directly under the words "please enter the URL of your image" and then right click on OK. Important - make sure you empty out the rectangle box before you paste your URL into it. It comes with the letters http:// - just delete them because you will already have them from the URL from properties.

It takes practice, so if I were you I would open my own thread here in the Rubber Room and title it test and try to get the hang of it. Here is an example.
