Natrually the majority of threads and posts don't use smilies at all but the ones that do use them do it to convey the jist of the thread. For example the thread I posted yesterday wishing everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day has the large blue thumbs up smilie

along side of the first post.

My point to all is that BTJ's thread with the goat milking remarks while insensitive towards Dsethi was also meant in a joking way and not in a blatant racist insulting way IMHO.

I felt that Dsethi's retort however was over the line so I deleted it. That is basically the whole story that created this entire argument.

Lets face it - call it anyway you want, accuse me of favortism if you want but this forum and almost any others I have read have always been sensitive about and reluctant to allow posters to insult a man's family especially his wife or children in the fashion that Dsethi did with regards to Jim's wife.

I try to be fair in these matters and give as much leeway as I can but it is not easy to please all the people all the time.

It'd be one thing if BTJ said that stuff in a joking way - but when it's apparent he doesn't like me, refers to me in the same manner with racially charged remarks in almost every thread he creates, and goes to my thread in the Site Promotions forum to do the same (which I don't mind because I'm putting him in his place down there), then at what point am I supposed to view his remarks as friendly jokes?

Do a quick search in the past 2 months and see how many times he's referred to me needing to become a goat-milker or needing to give up my service and 'do what i do best' and become a convenience store clerk.

The comments themselves aren't particularly funny and they don't bother me much but when you're going to chalk his consistent remarks as jokes and then not consider mine a joke - then that makes zero sense. Wilheim, I happen to think both raj and dsethi have added alot to this forum.

I personally find all the talk by other men about sucking each other off, dicks, etc to be strange, but that seems to be more common nowadays among men.
