If you mean an avatar under your posting name then:

<TABLE class=tborder cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=6 width="100%" align=center border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=tcat>How do I get a picture under my username?</TD></TR><TR><TD class=alt1>These small images are called Avatars. They are displayed below your username on all posts that you make. There are two kinds of avatars: those provided by the administrator and those that you upload yourself.

If the administrator has provided a set of avatars, and avatars are enabled, you may select an avatar that best describes your personality.

The administrator may also have enabled custom avatars, which allows you to upload an avatar image from your computer.

For more information about avatars, click here.
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

The box above will allow you to use one of the 100 or so stock avatars we have in our data base. If you want something special post a description of it in this thread and when I check back I will find something as close as possible for you and make it your avatar.

------------------------------------------------

To post a picture in the body of a post:

You need to left click on this ICON at top of post box when you have your mouse mark where you want the pic to post:
insertimage.gif
. That will open to a larger box that says "please enter the URL of your image". You then have to right click on the image or picture you want to post. That will display a large box at the bottom will be the word properties, you have to right click on the word properties and copy the URL address to your mouse and paste it into an empty rectangle shaped box directly under the words "please enter the URL of your image" and then right click on OK. Important - make sure you empty out the rectangle box before you paste your URL into it. It comes with the letters http:// - just delete them because you will already have them from the URL from properties.

It takes practice, so if I were you I would open my own thread here in the Rubber Room and title it test and try to get the hang of it. Here is an example.

Maybe someone will take the time to explain it better than I have.

seamanspilot

I hope that is what you had in mind.

"Wil can you pilot a fighter jet by any chance"?

No - I am not a pilot and cannot fly but I did crew on Cobra Gunships while in VietNam and flew on just about evey rattle trap old prop transport the Army and the Air Force had in service during the late sixties (no single or double seat fighters though).

The most reliable plane ever built and one that I flew in quite a bit as cargo (military hop) was the DC-3 - military name C-47 Sky Train. Manufactured by Douglas Aircraft company (now called McDonnell Douglas).

Affectionetely known as "The Gooney Bird" the C-47 became famous during WWII and remained in service thru the VietNam war. To this day some still fly in various places around the globe.

Stories about the exploits of the C-47 are endless, In VietNam the Air Forced developed the AC-47D and AC-47 better known as Spooky or at times "Puff the Magic Dragon". Photo above (notice three square darkened windows aft of the normal windows where the guns were installed)..

Spooky was the first in a series of gunships developed by the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. The Air Force felt that more firepower than light and medium attack aircraft could provide was needed in some situations when ground forces called for close air support. Spooky was developed to fill that role. The AC130 Hercules Gunship later became an even more fearsome platform and replaced Spooky as the main close air support hybrid transport/fighter in Nam.

Spooky became a very welcome sight for infantry soldiers on the ground during much of the VietNam war. That version of the aircraft were equipped with three gattling type rapid fire high caliber machine guns on the port side that could lay down some awesome (for it's day) firepower on enemy ground forces.

The C-47 originally became famous in the China/Burma/India/ Theater of operation in WWII. The sturdy and reliable Gooney Bird was able to make the dangerous 530-mile long passage over the Himalayan Mountains to deliver badly needed troops and supplies from India to China where the Japanese had invaded and waged a brutal campaign against the Chinese people starting in the late 30's thru the very end of the war in August of 1945.

Ok i know i am joining this party way to late, but IMO Dsethi did absolutely nothing wrong in retaliating about the wifes penis.

I knew it was a joke so did everyone else, apparently Wil didnt but thats ok.

Wil you do a great job daily, why the fuck get involved between 2 posters verbal assaults in the RR? All it does is cause you some non needed headaches for a few days.

You should hire some poster to just follow around BTJ all day and make sure his racist shit wont mention anything bad like "I hope your Girlfriend or wife has a big dick"

Ok i am out just had to say that i felt Dsethi got the raw end here
