Wil, most guys like the drama and soap opera stuff.

I know a lot of posters like that kind of stuff but this problem started by a poster complaining about that very thing in the NBA forum .

I think for CAPPING FORUMS the ship should be run very tight. Again, most are here for those valuable picks and don't want to wade through bullshit.

For the OTHER FORUMS, however, I would let boys be boys. Flame, post soft porn, etc. And if any money is spent, it should be enhancing the strength of the CAPPING FORUMS and not the ancilary stuff.

Is that where the confusion lies? Again, your competitor knows this and has structured his operation accordingly. Thats why he is on the rise, and the Rx is falling.

Don't you guys have these types of discussions in your "Board Room" or whatever?

Guys of course your opinions matter, PPeter,Dwoof, BigBet...all great contributors...Sometimes no matter what you do or say someone is not happy, that is more the case here....it's harder than it looks at times to keep peace , accomodate everyone's concerns.

BigBet you started the thread, what do you think the problem is, of course we want everyone to be happy, and we will work harder to fix it, if we can.

To suggest that we don't care about veteran posters is wrong....try and think about it from a moderator's perspective too, just for the sake of this debate....and I assure you we are always listening.

I understand about the sport forums and that is one of the reasons The Rx. hired OldmanTed. Xpanda is simply helping out in Politics.

Actually The Rx. numbers are better than ever. We just experienced a record month of April for active threads, number of posts, new sign-ups and positive response from our advertisers.

I have Sportsavant getting extremely active with contests now. In fact look for a great Kentucky derby contest to be posted soon.

I have been busy myself during this uproar here trying to post a super Blackjack hand contest for our upcoming Rx. Bash.

woof, just to let you know I have no ghosts at the rx.. I had other handles in the past but none ever posted in my own threads to bump them.. I was banned during a feud I had with a raiders guy.. I brought up new handles to continue the feud only, each were banned after a post or two.. As far as you being a cry baby... Take a joke... GL big guy...

In all honesty I was miffed about the implication that the NBA Forum was a litterbox and I guess I let it show. Live and learn is the lesson I learned from this.

I also have concerns the Rx's leadership position in the offshore world is being squandered. Why do I care? Because I have enjoyed contributing to making this place a better community for years. I have gotten out of this place as much as I have put into it, and have invested my time and energy accordingly. But I too can't help notice the steady migration of respected posters to "across the street" much like the Pilgrims in 1620.

most of the traffic is paid shills and ghosts at almost EVERY forum

don;t fall for the illusion that other places get even close to the traffic of this place
