Fine. I'm not, maybe you can give your money to those people and leave me alone.

the fact that you think it would harm you is beyond belief. Are you a super wealthy business owner by chance ?
Continue to support the exploitation of the working people though

Ill say this though. I actually respect that we are able to have this debate and be civil to each other. That's how this forum should be but it never seems to work out that way

Not to mention that the earth literally can't support capitalism continuing to be the dominant economic style.
There is more than enough energy to sustain capitalism as our technology improves.
You said the freest economies. The freest economies are found in Africa and Asia
The freest are Hong Kong and Singapore. They were piles of ruble after the Japanese were done with them after WWII. Now they have strong economies and middle classes, their poverty rates are in the 20s and falling.
yes you talking to people from Nordic countries in Vegas just debunked everything. The European health care systems are rated the best in the world by the WHO. there is no debating that they have a superior set up to here in the us. Those same Nordic countries that are just ravaged with their mixed economies continue to dominant the human development index. It's funny that it works that way
What methodology does the WTO use? On one hand we're penalized for having an expensive system, despite part of the expense is due to the employer paying for it, but that also gives us shorter wait times. We have a mixed health care system here.
the fact that you think it would harm you is beyond belief. Are you a super wealthy business owner by chance ?
Continue to support the exploitation of the working people though
The fact you think it is a utopia but won't work with others to create it yourselves is unbelievable. Again, if it works so well, work with like minded people, and when I see it is so superior, I'll join you. That "exploitation" is what I call a job, a chance to better myself. You really think that I'm being exploited, but a "super wealthy business owner" will just sit back and let you exploit him? That's the centerpiece of your plan? That's really beyond belief!

now up, socialist countries that have been successful, batting .000 with no HR, no RBI, no runs scored and a bunch of guys in the dugout that don't even try

their fans who get free tickets can't go to road games, there are travel restrictions don'tchaknow, but that works out well because now they can stand in whatever line they see to buy whatever it is that's being sold at the end of the line. Might be a chicken, might be size 16 sneakers that don't fit anybody, might be UK's unbeaten season t-shirts

how on god's good earth does anyone think growing government and growing regulations empowers people? don't they know that's simply not plausible?

how do you grow the economy? well taking away ambition and spirit won't do that trick. That dog don't hunt (although you may decide to eat it), there's a documented history if your care to open your eyes

I'll close by saying the founding fathers didn't advocate a socialist society, so anyone who advocates socialism can ask Cuba for political asylum where he can be the equal with his comrades, save for the politicians of course, they have a good life

Actually, yes it can.

Anyway, if socialism is so great, how then do you explain the standard of living in Cuba and Venezuela?

Actually, you are coo-coo for CocaPuffs.

See, there is a reason why wealthy people from all over the world, including Europe, come to America to get health care treatment when they are facing severe illness or disease.

[h=1]The more people are exposed to socialism, the worse they behave[/h]
Lars Hornuf of the University of Munich and Dan Ariely, Ximena García-Rada and Heather Mann of Duke University ran an experiment last year to test Germans’ willingness to lie for personal gain. Some 250 Berliners were randomly selected to take part in a game where they could win up to €6 ($8)
...
The authors found that, on average, those who had East German roots cheated twice as much as those who had grown up in West Germany under capitalism. They also looked at how much time people had spent in East Germany before the fall of the Berlin Wall. The longer the participants had been exposed to socialism, the greater the likelihood that they would claim improbable numbers of high rolls.

Hey, if socialism is so great, why did the USSR collapse?

And yes I'm willing to pay much higher taxes to support programs

No you're not.

Because if you were, you wouldn't take any tax deductions.

You're a laughable hypocrite and liar.

PS: the US Treasury accepts donations (which you've never made). Mail your check(write a check payable to the Bureau of the Fiscal Service) to:

The ussr was not a socialist country. It started with socialist origins and then became a state bureaucracy totalitarian country

Yes I would if the federal government actually had programs like universal health care, free college, state paid daycare services. Etc like European countries have. Why would I start just giving money to the us federal government without any of these programs being enacted. That makes literally no sense

No capitalism actually requires more and more consumption and production for the system to work. The earth does not have infinite resources. I think you were the person who stated that humans have had no effect on the earth.

I said humans have no negative impact on the earth.

Um, there is no "more and more consumption" of anything. The # of acres dedicated to US farmland is but 1 example.

Your understanding of these topics contains a laughable ignorance. Which is why you believe the silly & stupid things you do.

Um, the US has Medicare & Medicaid, Head Start, Social Security, Food Stamps, SSDI, Pell Grants, and 2,000 other socialist type programs.

You just want people to live under conditions you, yourself never would.

You are laughably pathetic.

I gave given examples. Look at Europe. Cuba has higher standard of living than average Latin American countries. So repeating the examples for you. You're really slow
