Let me put it in simpler terms so you can understand better.... lets say there's 42 pts scored in the first quarter of a football game. The model will most likely spit out a very high total for live betting, correct? But if only 7 pts is scored in the second quarter, that same model is gonna spit out a much lower total. Does that mean the first high total was wrong? Of course not. The data inputted after the first quarter told it that it would be a very high scoring game. Then the total was re-adjusted as more data came in. That's the Coronavirus models in a nutshell: the more data is inputted the more accurate it becomes. Doesn't mean previous predictions were wrong.

Considering this is the most tested and tracked illness in mankind history, I'll go with scientific evidence and not your anecdotal fallacy.
