want to try this one more time, and I am sorry that my question was stated badly before but has anybody sent bitcoin from blockchain to coinbase lately, is it possible? If it is, how is it done. From what I can see blockchain needs a bitcoin address to send to and coinbase only wants to receive thru an email address. I see old tutorials online on how you acquire an address from coinbase but my coinbase page does not have the same setup as the one in the tutorial and there is no way to get a bitcoin address from coinbase as far as I can tell. thanks in advance for any help

Are you using coinbase mobile app or a pc on there website?

They got rid of my limits on circle because of the amounts i still dont know how these companies risk doing banks you figure it takes 3-5 days but they will instantly send money for you, and people will just take shots and empty out their bank accounts too risky imo

Set up 2FA and no one can take money out of your Circle account unless you punch in a code that you receive by text for each transaction. No real risk.

Do you need to upload an ID to use these two sites no matter what?

or

Do you only need to upload ID if you want to use debit/credit cards?
You can upload your ID with a smart phone. They walk you through everything, selfie and copy of ID. Then you link your debit/credit/bank account.

Any idea who is behind them and how solid are they

They are the biggest of all the pure bitcoin books and are located in CR. They opened in 2012 and there haven't been any payout problems. Deposits take approximately 1 minute and withdrawals within 10 minutes.

For Nitrogen you can set up 2FA with google authenticator for security purposes.

I am using a pc

OK, when you log into Coinbase, it should go straight to your BTC Wallet.
Look to the right of the page, you should see the words "Wallet address", click on it.
It should show you a QR code, under it is your Coinbase address.
Copy and paste that address into your Blockchain account to send bitcoins to your Coinbase account.

Probably a dumb question...

so when I buy on coinbase, it says the Bitcoin will be deposited into my 'btc wallet' .

so it's going to my coinbase wallet.

There is no issues with this (going to a coinbase wallet), as I will simply then transfer to my blockchain wallet.?

thanks again for everyones help.

Yeah. Coinbase gives you a BTC wallet and a USD wallet. You can sell BTC and leave it in your USD wallet (i.e. not transfer it back to your bank), if you just want to hold money in there without worrying about price volatility...it makes your next buy quicker.

I hold BTC and USD in there usually.

Once it shows up in your Coinbase BTC wallet you can instantly transfer it to your blockchain wallet by using the Send/Receive function to send the BTC to that wallet address. It's easy.

Well my first ever Bitcoin payout isn't going as quickly as expected. Over 24hrs already.

I mean it's only a couple clicks of the mouse to get the transfer done, right?

Will update...

If you're playing at a traditional book there's still going to be the ~2 days of "security checks" before they process.

Shouldn't take that long. At most I've had to wait until the afternoon for a request that I made in the morning.

Any way to get this instantly, not days? Seems like some allow debit/credit, if you go that way do you get right away? Want to buy and deposit same day.

Looks like you need to upload ID.. Any reason not to?
