I'm the biggest Seahawks on this board but there isn't any way possible M. Lynch is better than A. Peterson or D. Murray. That's absurd.

I am pretty confident that if defenders had a choice between who they don't want coming at them, it is Lynch all day When his mind is on his business, no one is stopping him. However I think he is going to be on the downswing has he has carried way too much of a load. No RB is invincible from Father Time. I like Murray but he has proven to be injury prone so I will never be truly sold on him.

Red Eye takes his 1 read option quarterbacks very serious. That's what I thought? What did you think?

Don't think you watch enough football to give us all a valued opinion.... Why can't you answer my question a few posts back ? Who should be the first player taken in the draft ... Its a simple question. You're stuck with the pick so you can't trade it..

Why can't I trade the pick? Someone will want Winston or Mariotta so why couldn't I move down 4 or 5 spots? I don't like #1 overall picks unless I can get a real qb with it. I could probably trade the pick to you. You seem gullable enough.

The players I would pick I would not take at #1. I like Cooper at WR, Landon Colllins at safety. If I need a qb, I would wait until later in the draft and take maybe a white pocket passer from a smaller school. Someone with an accurate arm that is intelligent, has strong pocket presence, sees the whole field, and went through his reads and progressions. Notice the top NFL quarterbacks are all in the same mold? White, intelligent, pure pocket passers, and intelligent....You can have your 4.3 forty read option "all business on the right and party on the left RG 3 stuff". I will take the boring non attention whore over the running Manziel.

You love Mariotta so much? Trade up to get him. What's your offer? And in real life, I would act like I love Mariotta and Winston to generate interest. Talk to your owner and shoot me an offer.

Red eye, we need to discuss Hershel Walker too. We may be interested in moving him. He's a great and talented back but we are going to go in another direction.

You do realize with few exceptions, by in large, Alabama players don't pan out in the NFL right?

Andre Smith,
Donta Hightower,
Mark Barron,
Marcell Dareus
Chance Warmack
DJ Fluker
Terrance Cody
Courtney Upshaw
Clinton Dix.

Ones that come to mind that struggle are Trent Richardson, Kirkpatrick, and McClain, Mark Ingram. They have so many top picks, some won't make it. You can't count guys like McCarron who are throw away picks. Julio Jones looks very comparable to Amari Cooper. I am trading down not up.

And paning out is not always a pro bowler. With your 1st round pick, you would hope he would be though. When you have so many NFL draft picks, not all wil be standouts.

I would say by and large, Oregon players don't work out in the NFL especially on offense. Lamichael James lit the world on fire in college.

Johnny Football would be the first to come into this thread and tell you knuckleheads to check yourselves.. Johnny Football went to Eugene with the same recruiting class with Mariota....He looked around and told himself," man I don't want any part of this , I'm outta here " Johnny could tell you what time it is...But we still have these silly comparisons... RG3, dude can't even walk in a straight line from his couch to the kitchen.. NFL scouts will tell you Marcus has all the skills that most QB's don't have... I'll pay attention to that instead of the wannabes here..

Cooper & Collins wouldn't be #1 on anyone's board.. Nobody drafts a WR # 1 with the exception of the Jets..WR's are a dime a dozen.. BTW, Johnathan Stewart has had a nice long career at RB from Oregon..

Not making a judgement on Mariotta but there are legitimate questions if he can be a consistent dropback passer at the pro level, we'll see.

So you are telling me an NFL bust like Manziel wanted no part of Mariotta. What's next? Jamarcus Russell wanted nothing to do with him either.

Top quarterbacks of the last 14 years.

Manning
Brady
Rodgers
Luck
Brees
Kurt Warner
Carson Palmer

Notice how they are all intelligent, pocket passers with ridiculous accuracy and are hard workers with pocket presence.

If my qb cant drop back 30 times a game, I don't have a qb.

And think about this Red Eye, I would trade down. i already have Mike Evans, now I will have Amari Cooper. I get my white pocket passer in the 3 or 4th rounds prob with the pics you are trading me. I now only a TE away and a couple lineman from being great on offense....I play my white qb from Day 1 so I can see how he will do with a big sample size. I bring in vertern old back up to help him. If we win, means he is doing great, he falls on his face, i have another high pick and may take Hackenburg if he checks out. Not committing to him but you get the point.

You absolutely must have a qb to consistantly win.
