Then explain why 80% or more of your posts only pertain to disagreeing with someone??

I mean, i know you're from the Northeast & it's in your nature to think you're always right & everyone is always wrong, but you make it too obvious with most of your posts being about that (especially with me)

No offense to any other friends or posters from that area, that part was pretty much a joke...

I might be replying to you if I think you are wrong and you are just overly sensitive about it. Now some people when they are wrong, they can look at it and say "Ok yeah, i see that POV, makes sense." Like in the case of this thread being moved, you were wrong.

Others think it is an attack on them or the guys an asshole or whatever. I don't really know what to tell you, but I would feel pretty confident in saying most of the posters on this site that interact with me on a regular basis enjoy doing so. I could be WAY off on that, but I highly doubt it. I mean, sometimes we must disagree with one another on here to get to the point of the topic so everyone can learn more about the subject matter. It's kinda how discourse works.

Start a poll on the mainboard, knock yourself out. I think if your trying to portray me a certain way, you're going to be surprised that isn't consensus opinion.

Look at this post before you moved it, if you felt that was someone being too disrespectful or argumentative then posting on message boards or even talking about any subject matter with others may not be for you.....

Again, most of the good posters will agree with me on this.

In all seriousness, not trying to argue but why move the thread?

It was doing fine in the main forum, a few of us are posting in it, what is the logic behind that? I'm not a MOD so I don't know, maybe there is a logic I didn't think of.

There is a heisman thread in the main forum right now, why does this get moved and that doesn't? Again I'm not a MOD so I have no clue how the selection process for that type of thing works but it seems pretty random.

Not sure why it was moved when it was either.....now is a different story....damn near 50%
of the threads in the main go worse than this one.

I don't think he moved it to NBA because it was going bad, just thought it would do better there. From what I've seen for sub-forums it is mostly picks and not really threads like this. Threads like this tend to do better in the main. I'm not a MOD though I really don't know. Then once we went back and forth about whether or not I'm a huge asshole, it had to be moved to RR.

Crazy you can't just ask a simple question around here.

Yea lets not clutter up that offshore forum that gets 100 post in a day on a good day.

We would never want it to get in the way of 5 teams bumped up threads from 10 years ago.

I might miss out on the fact that it's Jay Lenos birthday .

Why would this place ever want a thread in the offshore that people actually read?

Why would a head mod want to insult one of the very best posters on this entire site?

Thanks Chop, I appreciate it.

Just was asking why move a thread where guys like Funky Monkey are posting detailed responses in, we're talking about the media/entertainment landscape, what constitutes a star in each sport, how the game is evolving, etc

I'm not trying to say "Oh how dare you move a thread" but honestly I wouldn't post longwinded responses if I knew it was going to be moved to a part of the site that just isn't really about that discussion. Look at my last post about Brady/Manning before it got moved, you think I type all that out if I know it is getting moved to the NBA sub-forum? Cmon.

It is like if you take a heisman thread and move it to the CFB forum, it's just not going to get the views. I mean, isn't discussion what the main forum is for and handicapping/picks are what the subs are for?

Anyway hache, I really have nothing against you but if you think I am "on your case" or whatever, I'm telling you right now I'm not. I guess maybe when you disagree with someone multiple times it does seem like you are "singling them out" or whatever, but that isn't what I was doing.

If you want to complain about a thread being moved that I personally created, then create one yourself once in a while.

If it were SOMEONE else's thread I moved, then I could see your point.

Not that I have to explain myself to you two who have become the best of friends lately (probably a business venture and no way Chop found this thread by chance without Pat's help) but I moved it because I just happen to do that once in a while.

Moving an NBA thread...to an NBA forum....is harmless as it appeared to have already gotten off topic & died.

As for "Insulting" someone, don't point fingers Chop until you know what you are talking about and who actually "Insulted" who...

LOL classic...And I'm dead on with my analogy about you two lately.

BS

If that were the case you would let it go once in a while like I do when I say "Let's just agree to disagree".

But you always continue...and continue...and continue....Like in this thread for example.

Best thing is to just avoid each other from here on out...

lately?!?!?!

Chop and I have always been like family Hache. That's like blood basically. Cmon, everyone knows that.

The thing is I wasn't really complaining Hache, I was asking a question and you were the one who had a problem with it.

I guess move threads wherever you want, you can do that and at the end of the day it's just a thread so nobody is gonna tilt too hard over it.

I don't think it had died at all and neither did the other few posters I was conversing with but again, do what you want man.

We need more threads in the offshore forum about Chad Ochocinco's birthday.

Actually that is possible. You know why? Because I don't see disagreement as a bad thing. What is so bad about an exchange of opinions/ideas on a website?

I think you see any type of difference of opinion as personal, whereas I just see it as healthy debate.

I probably can get a little condescending sometimes but I mean that's like childs play compared to some of the dudes on this site. You see some of these cats man? Need to be put in a cage and I'm the bad one? Pffft...

I think there are 50 threads on page one of the offshore forum.

About 48 of the 50 are off topic.

I just think someone got their feelings hurt.

Patsfan said it best.
Disagreement is not a bad thing.

Just because PF disagrees with you does not mean you should take it personal.
He never called you any names or called you an idiot .

I like Patsfan a lot and he has disagreed with me more then he's disagreed with you.

But I love it.

He always brings up well thought out arguments.

Sometimes he has proven me wrong but I don't take it personally.

Its a way to grow.

Im always looking for what's right in life.

Im not concerned with defending my position.
I want to hear it from all sides.

Sometimes I say things to challenge people just so I can hear the other end of the argument even if it's at the expense of making me look bad.

Good thing this was moved from the Main page. It was taking valuable front-page space from the jeans discussion, the KKK, and the Black Panthers.

I blame you. Once you posted the track and field improvements then the thread had to be a wrap.

That was a bridge too far man....
