I am surprised no one has mentioned KG's low post moves as non-existent. This is why the KG led T-Wolves have bowed out of the playoffs in the first rd 8 straight years. That fade away 20 foot jumper by KG during crunch time does'nt cut it.

Kevin is the best player in the game today. He comes to play every night even when he's hurt. Shaq can't even be mention in the same breathe as Garnett Shaq should take some pointers from Garnett and learn to play hurt instead of always complaing about his big toe.

Having closely watched Minnesota games this year I have to say close but Garnett. Rings are in most cases the measure of a team not an individual.

OK then lets call it a draw if you wish and have them settle it at the free throw line.

How many titles does Garnett Have?
How many MVP awards does Garnett have?
How many times have the Twolves gotten out of the first round of the playoffs?

If you can answer all these questions you will find your answer.

WOW!!!

Both players are amazing...

They play different from each other, it is hard to tell which one is better, but I have loved Tim Duncan since he started playing in the NBA, he is my favorite one!

If I had to choose between the two,I'd take Garnett due to age factor.Talent wise I'd give Duncan a very slight edge at this point.

I think Duncan is by far the best player in the NBA right now.

As I mentioned way above, I feel Duncan is a bit better than Garnett, but guys, I still feel Shaq is the most dominant player in the league.I would still choose Oneal to build my team around, he's simply unstoppable. Unlike Duncan and Garnett, when Shaq's hook or little turnaround is off that night, he can always just go to basics as he did in his earlier years, and just dominate the post and dunk all night long, and that's what separates him.

Garnett with more REbs than Shaq for his career..,

Kevin Garnett grabbed 13 rebounds to pass Shaquille O’Neal and move into 12th on the NBA’s career list.

Ps, Duncan >> when all said/ done...

Honestly, looking back at this - comparing the two of them is like comparing a piece of aluminum to gold - Duncan is the greatest PF offensively of all time, defensively of all time (he's like having another Center) and team wise off all time - plus he's clutch which KG has no clue the meaning off - when an historian of the game does his all time team two positions are never in question - SG and PF and at least Kobe is somewhat close to Jordan while the next best PF is Malone and he's no where close to Duncan - McHale, Barkely, Malone and Dirk all much better than Garnett

If you think Kevin McHale is better than KG then you're clueless re. hoops. And I'm from Hibbing, McHale couldn't even win the state title in HS. If KG had the surrounding cast Kobe had he'd have multiple titles also. McHale could't carry his jock. Put KG w/Bird & Chief and Magic & his boys would have a few less rings. Along w/Kirby & Page the best to ever play in Mn.!

No way. Their numbers are almost identical. Any team with either of these two players would have been successful. To say one is considerably better than the other is impossible. And since when is Duncan more clutch then Garnett?

Barkley said McHale was the best player he ever played against. Look it up.

Not sure whats funnier, this or that multiple people agreed with this. Malone is better than KG? lol....I guess you value longevity over how good they were in their prime A LOT.

There is a reason the 1 year KG played on a good team and was healthy, he won a ring. It goes Duncan-KG-CBark-McHale-Malone at PF.

Although to be fair, Tim Duncan is basically a C so its kinda tough to compare him to other PFs but yeah if your gonna group him in PF then he is clearly #1.

You guys know D is half the game right?

Mchale said that KG was the best player he had ever seen and that was when he was 18.
KG is a top 10 player of all time. Duncan is great, but sorry KG is the better overall talent.
