I actually think the opposite about 5dimes, that they may go downhill.Their customer service stinks, and bonehead Tony is the biggest jerk I've ever dealt or talked with dealing with a sportsbook.

if panam is the book they need to at least get money lines, 1st, and 2nd half lines. the reduced juice over the phone is good though.

H man,

I have only had a few dealings with CS at 5dimes. No problems yet, but others seem to have had a few.

What I guage my opinion on is simple. Let's look at Olympic for a moment. I have seen many complaints about CS, bad phone clerks, and non reduced juice. Even with these complaints, they still made it to the top because of why.......I think it was becuase of a multitude of unique offerings and unique numbers coupled with accepting big bets and paying out big winners without squealing. IMO, 5Dimes is the only book out there right now that is making their unique lines on unique events and aren't scared to take a large wager on their numbers. They are also headed in the right direction in developing a players word of mouth reputation for being financially sound.

So, if you are comparing one of the hundred clone joints out there, then CS would have to be a huge factor (along with reduced juice and bonuses) in your choice of which one to play at.

I want to gamble with a book that has "heart", has unique opportunities, and get paid without a problem. Olympic, Jazz (ABC), and 5 dimes are the books that fit my criteria at the present moment. I understand that what is good for me is not good for all.

What do you mean large wager?almost every book whould accept a large wager for MLB,NFL,NBA,but please don't ask from them to take a large wager at soccer, thats mostly Olympics'job.I like the variety of 5Dimes but as far as I can remember,I ve never played a single cent there.

Shrink, you have yet to spell out what criteria you will include / exclude to make a selection.

I think, if there is no legislation issues to contend with, several super books will emerge, via mergers, which will transcend Caribbean, Lat. American, European and Asian borders.

As an Example: Combining a Bowmans, Grande and say Oly or Cascade into giant Super Stores to cover European, US and Asian Sports and Racing.

Joey,

Let's just say the book I am referring to will be where Pinnacle is today, but they will have a much broader customer base, and they won't be going any credit business...

5 dimes can never be in the pinnacle league

yes, they offer a ton of variety, but if you start to beat them on these secondary sports, your limits will be cut very quickly

to mention them as a possible book to de-throne pinnacle is a total joke

Bodog...
LMAO they take bets on WRESTLING and SURVIVOR outcomes.

COme on now. Are you serious?

They definately have a vast marketting machine but they are a joke in my opinion. They have ridiculous limits and had to cancel bets last year because they found out that insiders bet into the Survivor pool.

Has it sunk that low that a book that offers odds on shit that is both fixed and already known is praised as the heir apparent to be the best book inthe world?

No wonder so many people have stopped reading this site for LEGITIMATE sports information.

LOL- Bodog is not a bad book, a C+ type. But to say they will pass Oly, Pinnacle, WWTS, CRIS, Canbet, ect "soon" is well, a stretch.

Maybe they can be a top 20 book in a few years. That would be a realistic goal...

I do believe BoDog is a very underrated book right now. They have changed everything they are doing from top to bottom, takes a while to change someone's opinion though. Some you can never change. So yes I like this book myself but I don't share Shrink's optimisim to his level. I don't see them number one anytime soon but I do think they are a better ran and much safer book now than most realize.
