I need some help with this.

My wife and I currently have a 2 year old son (turns 3 in August). We live in Toronto, Canada where things are pretty much perfect with affordable housing, a great health care system and several other benefits from the Government.

I know it's easy to prop up your own kids and to say they are perfect and all but our son is not normal. The way he already plays several sports is not normal. He is still learning words yet has perfected the basic skills in about 5-6 different sports. Here is a breakdown:

Football: He speaks three languages in broken sentences yet he the minute I give him a football, he makes me line up beside him and yells 'Hut Hut Hut'. If I don't move, he gets pissed off and tells me to run a pattern. Once in motion, and I actually run pretty far, he almost always tosses a perfect spiral (with a mini pigskin football) and throws as far as any kid on our block (most of them 5-6 years old). His accuracy is not all that great but his throws have continuously wowed some people at local parks and on our street. If I stand with a football and yell 'go', he attacks me like a linebacker and wont let go until I fall to the ground.

Baseball: We bought him a plastic bat and ball from the Dollar Store about 4 months ago. Right away when I gave him the bat, without any instruction, he knew how to hold it and how to stand with it (100% sure this is from watching all the baseball with me). The very first pitch I ever threw to him, he hit over my head and off my brother in law's BMW a good 15 feet away. He missed the next 5-6 pitches but has an incredible batting stance (again musta seen it on TV) and is only a level-swing away from being a good hitter. He also catches a ball from 10 feet away with a glove.

Soccer: This is probably the most impressive one. He has several cousins who play soccer and who are 5-10 years old and believe me when I say that he can kick a ball harder than most of them. Not only does he kick it perfectly but he knows how to raise the ball and shoot with pretty damn good velocity. Again, im not propping him up, this is not normal at all...He also has a coordination like I never had with his feet. If I roll him a ball to the left side, he quickly shifts over, gets in a position to hit the ball and one times it right back to my nutsack area. This is with an official size soccer ball. He also has outstanding ball control.

Volleyball: I suck at volleyball and always have. My wife was one of the best high school players in the city back in the day and she regularly plays with her brothers and sisters when we are at the in-laws. However, he has never shown interest until last week when he told me he wants to play 'wolleyball'. So I threw him a ball and he positioned his arms like v-ball players do and hit it right back to me. I was like WTF????

Hockey: Another one of the most impressive. Im a huge huge huge hockey fan and he has watched tons of games with me. We bought him a mini-hockey set with sticks, a net and some balls to play around with in the house. The first fuckin thing he does is take a massive slap shot that nearly breaks one of my ankles in the living room. He knows how to hold the mini-stick, how to stick-handle and how to take hard hard shots from very far and into the net before yelling 'SCOOOOOOOOOOOOORES'.

UFC: He has watched several UFC events with me (I usually host big parties) and although probably not a good thing, he is now an expert and throwing 'Super-Man' punches at people when they piss him off. I have always fought with him in a playful way but playful fighting is no longer an option because he hits too hard and did some serious damage to some 4-5 year old kids when we went away last summer. At first he was shy to retaliate when other kids would pinch him or push him to the ground, but once I told him to hit them back if they would hit him, he hasn't looked back since and most kids (again much older) know not to mess with him. He's huge and I taught him not to cry for anything.

Alright so my point here is that although it's easy to prop up your kid, he is not normal for his age and we have been told this by many people. He is very tall, very bulky and extremely strong. He has modelish looks (just signed with an agency for him to start shooting commercials when he turns 3 years as they dont take 2 year olds but have already commited to him). The problem is that I have a feeling he can be something huge in sports (although the odds are not good) and his learning and development skills are oustanding.

The issue is that not many pro athletes or stars come out of Canada or Toronto for that matter. When it comes to football, baseball or soccer, his chances of developping at a young age (most sports start at 5 years old) are not good in Canada.

WHERE IN THE US SHOULD WE MOVE???

We are both open to moving (despite the luxuries we have here) and are looking to do it in the next two years. We are not moving for this only but also because we are sick of the winters here and would like some sunshine 365 days a year. I have thought of California and Florida the most because their sports programs produce several pro athletes and collegiate athletes. Any opinions on the whole matter would be appreciated and maybe in 15 years I can bump this thread announcing he got drafted somewhere.

If you are serious, move to Orange County, CA. Some of the schools down there are factories when it comes to producing D1 athletes in all sports, specifically Mission Viejo and more specifically Mater Dei.

while you seem like a very proud father let's keep in mind your lil boy is 2. You already have him pegged for a modeling and professional sports career. Mabey you should teach him to read and tie his shoes before you make career decisions for him. Just a thought.

I admire how proud you are of your son though.

Please, please tell me this thread was designed as a joke...

This one makes TheManej's "I hooped with Laurent Robinson thread" look miniscule.

I'm sorry to hear that about the soccer one.

UFC, I am dumbfounded right now....

Don't push your kid on to anything. Psychologists say this could lead them to rebel into homosexuality.

WTF is wrong with some of you guys? I guess it takes having a kid or kids to understand where I am coming from.

He speaks three languages, doesn't read yet but does put on his own clothes and from what I can tell is pretty damn smart for his age. of course im proud of him...he's my pride and joy. I have a tattoo of his name and can't wait to have more kids.

I just don't understand why some people think I am joking around.

Has always been our number one choice...up until now. We have saved up some cash for the move and have talked to some people out there about living conditions and so on. Thanks for the input.

Move to Freeport, Ny....You can raise him right near your boy Flav. Living there will make him a man

And i thought i was doing good because my 2yo took a shit on the toilet last week.:monsters-

I hope Mister was kidding. Otherwise its the biggest bunch of horseshit i heard on here in a long time (other then the guy who is going to move to vegas and live in a travel trailer while earning a living as a $100 a game pro sports gambler, lol).
