How many years ago was that?..Maybe he still does like her personally who knows....I liked Carson a lot at first but what I found out about him lately changed my mind.....Sharpton was in April & his stance on illegals just lately....He backs a path to citizenship (amnesty) & that leads to more illegal immigration so I cannot support him for President or VP now.......I think he would make a great Surgeon General...

I think Carson deserves a rather high position & Secretary of HUD is a far more
prestigious and influential position than Surgeon General. Carson grew up in the
Detroit ghettos and certainly knows the frailities embedded in the inner cities
& would be more of an asset as head of HUD than as Surgeon General.

He certainly would be an upgrade over current head Julian Castro, Castro by
the way mainly because of his ethnicity would be on Mrs. Clinton's short list for
VP.

I wish all candidates from both parties would have to lay out a list of who their cabinet choices etc would be. That is as important as anything and can tell you more about their long term plans as opposed to telling potential voters what they want to hear. The Attorney General job alone is a very strong indicator of things to come. As far as Carson goes he is just getting his feet wet and for a guy who is just wading into the political scene he is doing pretty good. The one thing about Carson is that whatever he would do as Potus would be more about the overall good of the country as opposed to appeasing political allies. DC has deteriorated over the years and elements like lobbying and political contributions are the main reasons why. Carson would not be obligated as most career politicians are. The main difference between him and Trump is that Carson's ego is not always on the table. He may not have Trump's money but I would bet on Carson over Trump on an IQ test lol.
