As far as Carson, I don't think he's scum even if all his views don't match mine. I don't agree with all of those comments, and many of them are silly hyperbole on his part. I don't have to agree with him every time he opens his mouth to admire his achievements.

Carson seems to be the darling of the Evangelicals probably along with the Rhino's
the most unimportant factions of the party to me. Afterall, it was Goodlatte of Virginia
& Frist of Indiana who inserted the 'Unlawful Internet Gambling Act' to the unrelated
'Safe Port Act' which ruined Internet Gambling for me in 2006, a real "midnight drop"
Frist & Goodlatte were real card-carrying Evangelicals like Carson & like Carson he was
or claimed to be a renowned heart and lung transplant surgeon.
I'm not against religion I pray every day & though I rarely go to church I am very proud of my
religion, it's not Evangelical. Of all the Evangelical candidates I'd certainly pick Cruz, Huckabee
& Santorum before Carson.
