Only in republican far right conservative world is giving time and money to good causes and less fortunate a bad thing.

Unreal 26-7 run in hoops but you cash that jdeucebag future ticket for a hundred and hopefully you can keep your lights on for another month.
Those $2.10 bets add up quickly don't they. Congratulations!

No wonder you can afford to go to KFC.

Sure.

Started day about 7am, had some breakfast and went to the gym. Have you been to the gym ever? Not the one where you played crab soccer in grade school....I mean an actual gym with real exercise equipment?

Went to lunch with people who would laugh hysterically if they ever saw where you lived and what your thoughts were.

Now I will look at tonights hoops game and try to contnue an epic college hoops season. Wasn't it nice those days you actually could bet real money? Those 25 parlays just don't do it do they? Oh well, guess that happens when you get to your age and have bled everyone around you dry.

Later my wife and I will go out to dinner and come home for the evening. You going for soup in a can and the right hand again?

When you look at our days side by side....no wonder you are a miserable liar.

You will die as you have lived....a fucking idiot. Now go to politifake.org and give us another meanigless contribution for the day.

Ha, a day in the life of Vitterd. I don't know how you find time to post here with all that daily excitement. You know it's a good day when the most important decisions you make consist of chest or back, whole eggs or egg whites, unc or duke, and scooby doo or the flintstones.

I don't watch cartoons and I find it a little weird you make references to cartoons so often. Family guy not included.

Can't lie...life is good....even with snow and ice raining down.

Yes, two references to cartoons in 2,000+ posts should definitely be considered often and is also undoubtedly weird.

Oh damn. 2 to 3 is a huge jump (.0009% of my posts to .001% of my posts) and definitely takes it from normal to "a little weird".

The fact that all 3 were directed at me.....changes the percentage a bit.....just a tad....out of those 2k posts...about 30 or so may have been directed at me....so that makes it a little weird. Maybe change the tag line to reality tv or something.

Yea, coming from the racist dude, who makes fat jokes every post now... you really bring a lot to the table, lol.

You've honestly have had the most drastic change out of anyone I know on this site. You use to be annoying but joked around and had fun. Now you are one angry ass dude. It's crazy, something must have happened. Maybe your friends don't share all the NBA fixes with you anymore or something. But damn, you've become a bad person.

Sure, cartoons, reality TV, whatever floats your boat, dude. I know you think focusing on the cartoons part of my post is a witty way to deflect the conversation from the actual point of what I posted, but it's really isn't.

Just noticed I completely botched that math. It's .09% to .1%.

It's fairly obvious, but maybe you're struggling because you're a little tired from your tough day. That choice between whole eggs and egg whites can be both mentally and physically exhausting.

The doctor is in.

Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson announced Tuesday he had formally created a presidential campaign exploratory committee, the first potential Republican candidate to take such a concrete step toward running in 2016.

Carson, 63, will be able to use the committee raise money to hire staff, travel and conduct other activities related to gauging support for a possible run. The money can be transferred to an eventual Carson campaign, should there be one.

“I will know by the amount of support we get, verbally and financially,” Carson said in an interview last week with The Inquirer, referring to the decision-making process. “If no money comes in, I think I’ll say, ‘OK,’ and go off and enjoy my retirement.”

(Read Sunday’s story on Dr. Carson from The Inquirer and Philly.com.)

Carson, who grew up in extreme poverty in Detroit and rose to become the head of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins University, has never run for political office. He has, however, been polling ahead of several established pols.

Carson became a conservative sensation after decrying the federal spending and debt and President Obama’s health care law at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast, as Obama listened from a few feet away.

He has begun hiring staff in recent days, including a national finance director and aides in early-voting states, through his political action committee. Both the PAC and the exploratory committee are separate from each other and from the independent National Draft Ben Carson for President Committee, which says it has raised $15 Million.

Yeah, I will try to be as productive as you are from now on. I'm sure you are a great mover and shaker in your community. Thanks for your help in making the sun rise this morning.

Ben Carson had a childhood dream of becoming a physician.

But growing up poor in a single-parent household in Detroit with bad grades and a horrible temper, the statistics were certainly not in his favor.

Fortunately, Ben’s mother, having only completed third grade herself, challenged her two children to reach beyond their meager circumstances through reading and building their knowledge of the world.

As he began to appreciate reading, Ben's grades improved dramatically and he started to develop what would become a life-long love affair with learning. Young Ben excelled in high school and upon completion, went on to attend college at Yale University where he met Candy, the young lady who would become his wife.

A CAREER OF SERVICE
Dr. Carson directed pediatric neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center for 29 years.
After graduation, Ben would work as an X-ray technician, a bank teller, a school bus driver, a supervisor for highway cleanup crews, and a crane operator in a steel factory, before being accepted into The University of Michigan School of Medicine.

Ben and Candy were married, and after graduating medical school, Ben moved his family to Baltimore where he performed his residency training at the Johns Hopkins University Medical Center.

Little did he know at the time, but Johns Hopkins and Baltimore, Maryland would become his home for most of his career, as Dr. Carson went on to direct pediatric neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center for 29 years.

Some of Dr. Carson's career highlights include the first and only successful separation of craniopagus (Siamese) twins joined at the back of the head in 1987, the first completely successful separation of type-2 vertical craniopagus twins in 1997 in South Africa, and the first successful placement of an intrauterine shunt for a hydrocephalic twin.

HONORS & AWARDS
Dr. Carson was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the land, in 2008.
In 2001, Dr. Carson was named by CNN and TIME Magazine as one of the nation’s 20 foremost physicians and scientists. That same year, he was selected by the Library of Congress as one of 89 “Living Legends.”

He is also the recipient of the 2006 Spingarn Medal, the highest honor bestowed by the NAACP. In June, 2008, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which is the highest civilian honor in the land.

Dr. Carson holds more than 60 honorary doctorate degrees, is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the Institute of Medicine/National Academy of Science, the Horatio Alger Society of Distinguished Americans, and many other organizations.

He sat on the board of directors of numerous entities, including Kellogg Company, Costco Wholesale Corporation, the Academy of Achievement, and is an Emeritus Fellow of the Yale Corporation, the governing body of Yale University.

He was appointed in 2004 by President George W. Bush to serve on the President’s Council on Bioethics, and has spoken twice during the National Prayer Breakfast, in 1997 and again in 2013.

GIVING BACK
As a strong believer in the power of education, and alarmed by studies showing America’s students falling behind the rest of the world, Ben and Candy Carson founded the Carson Scholars Fund in 1994.

Built to reward young people of all backgrounds for exceptional academic and humanitarian accomplishments, the Carson Scholars Fund now operates in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, having awarded over $6.2 million dollars to more than 6,200 scholars.

The program also establishes Carson Reading Rooms in schools across the country to encourage young students and their families to discover the pleasure of reading and to recognize the true power of learning. To date the program has established over 100 reading rooms in 14 states across the U.S.

AUTHOR & THINKER
Dr. Carson is a prolific writer and author, having published eight books, including his autobiography, Gifted Hands, and two titles that were New York Times Bestsellers, America the Beautiful, Rediscovering What Made This Nation Great, and One Nation, What We All Can Do to Save America's Future, which was on the New York Times Best Sellers List for twenty weeks, five of those weeks at #1. Gifted Hands was the subject of the award-winning, made-for-television movie under the same title as the book in which Cuba Gooding, Jr., played Dr. Carson in the leading role.
