What to about a bounced check that Bookmaker sent me?

Wierd for the bank to send it through twice on their own. If a check bounces you wouldn't think your bank is going to take the time to try to send a bounced check back to the bank that just rejected it as NSF. That seems like a waste of your banks time and money, not to mention a waste of YOUR time and money because you had to wait for them to send it off to Canada a second time. I would ask my bank why they sent it off the second time and caused me to lose a week in getting the money.

Well after Bookmaker gives me a number to call some guy answers and says there aware of the problem and they said "someone was writing phony checks on that account and they had to close the account and a new check would be coming to me by hopefully the middle of next week". This does me alot of good since I dont have the money in my account to pay back the bank. Just what I was wanting for Christmas:smoking:

This Story is True

And, you are not the Only one that this happened too.

It was told to me that Someone Did in Fact write Checks, and that they couldn't stop the "Real" Checks that went out.

But You Never know, sometimes Information could be False :drink:

This is standard practice with most banks. Why, I do not know.

Lets just wait until tomorrow and let VD pull some strings.

This is true and believe me Mickey isn't happy...some problems with the processors and he told me right to my face that this would happen and couldn't do anything about it until it actually happened...bounced checks isn't the way CRIS does business and I hope it clears up soon...I will talk to him tomorrow...

Talked to Mickey this morning and he said a couple of posters have tried to help RX guys in the past, but the RX has deleted their avatars and can no longer help...this was done because of a fued between the RX management/Sports Options and CRIS..

Anyone who has a problem can talk with accounting or just PM me and I will help...CRIS is not happy with this situation and as I have said before, this is not the way they do business...

That was an honest answer...sorry it happened to you, but as I stated before, they were aware of the situation and knew it was going to happen...PM me if you need any help on this end...

This is great. Fucking unbelievable. I hope they have this resolved. I asked a customer service rep about these type of incidence and he said there was no problems with checks, just direct deposits. I requested a withdrawal via courier on Monday. If this check bounces on me I will be done with them for good.

The fact that you have to call some third party is a disgrace. WTF? The withdrawal was from Bookmaker and they should do whatever they have to to resolve this issue. That's like going to Mcdonald's and getting a bad burger and them telling you to call the farmer in Iowa with the cows.

BULLSHIT

How Bookmaker is maintaining their A rating to me is a mystery.


How did the withdrawal go? I'm sure if it was bad we would have heard about it by now...

This book needs to be kept under a microscope..I have had Cris for years..along with Betmaker and Diamond..(same umbrella)

Of the 35-40 sportsbooks I have dealt with in the past 5 years..Bookmaker is in the top 3 for rudest, shitiest customer service reps...

Although it is gallant of VD to help with these issues..It is BS you should have to resort to a faceless although highly respected poster on an internet board to expedite the handling of these issues..

If they knew this was going to happen..they should have gone out of the way to warn the impending victims..they are great at cold calling..they should be able to pay one person to handle the affected individuals..

Maybe I am wrong but they should have also paid these people promptly through WU or MG..they are the best in the business at taking credit card $ this side of Sportsbook.com who are one of the biggest farces in the offshore industry..only thing sportsbook got worth a damn is their name which is googled by countless blind sheep daily..

I will continue to use Bookmaker and Diamond for now..love their parlay selection availability and thus far I myself have always been paid promptly in a reasonable time frame..

I have my eyebrows raised at them at the moment and will keep a keen eye on them..

Agree with you 100%...CRIS has been know to be rude to people on the phone and I have seen measures taken to insure this stuff doesn't happen as often...

On the other hand, I have heard countless tapes of conversations and once a poster thinks he is right or thinks he is being treated unfairly, there is nothing a rep can do to calm him down...

Good idea Dennis, somebody should be at the beckon if issues cannot be handled directly with a CS rep....

Their CS department has always taken hits, but they are getting better...a little patience on both sides go a long way...

The same thing is happening to me. I requested check on Nov. 10 and received it on Nov. 28. My bank notified me on Dec. 4 that it had bounced so i called and talked to the same guy and got the same story you received about getting a U.s. check in "2-3 days" Still no check for me yet. Customer service is no help I just hope to get my money soon and will never play there again even though I have had pretty good luck with payments before. This is just a red flag for me to move on to a safer out.

Your right there customer service is one of the worst out there and i will never re up with them again. Did you call the processor for a tracking # on the new check?
