Dave Portnoy from Barstool sports does one bite pizza reviews on YouTube. He's done hundreds of local places mostly in the Northeast and Fla. His reviews are good but the shtick is a bit much

If you guys are ever in Boston's North End (the Italian neighborhood) find Parziale's Bakery. Ask for Aldo. He is the pizza artist. It's primarily a bread bakery that services most of the restraunt's in the North End (there are many). Parziale's is the oldest bakery in Boston. Same family for about 100 years. Anyway get there about 10:00 or 11:00 in the morning when his Sicilian pan pizzas are coming out of the oven. You can get a slice for $1.95. ( I get crusty corners every Friday AM when my week is done. It is the best pizza. Period. You won't be disappointed. Tell the "pizza artist" that Jim sent you. Call him the pizza artist he'll know me. And you'll be happy like I am every Friday morning. I get it and eat it in Medford where I get Saturday's racing form. I'm the happiest guy in the world as I look at that form and eat that still hot pizza. (And drink a $1.50 coke out of Parziale's coke machine!)

Damn! I could have used this info two years ago when I was there to watch the Bosox. I was told Little Steve's pizzeria is where it's at, but it was nothing special. Good not great pizza, however their Philly cheesesteak (steak bomb) was incredible! Man but the prices down there, soooo cheap compared to here. $1.95 for the best slice in town, that would cost at least 5 bucks up here!

Yea I get it. But the offer holds.

Happy to share my little joys in life with my fellow RXrs.

I hope to give you that chance. Maybe this summer

I look forward to trying your favorite pizza

Known as Sicilian in some circles, deep dish in others, or a grinder to me :)

He was in my neck of the woods for a few weeks a few months back and was cool watching him at places that i have been to.

Funny b/c for a holiday gift, someone sent me Goldbelly from a place in New York and saw that Portnoy gave it an 8.7 i believe

Going to try making a St. Louis style pizza tomorrow night.

Didn't know it existed until a few days ago.

But I like cheese.

googled it and looked at pics. Hard to beat authentic Italian food. Our older boy years ago spent over a month in Italy with his high school class . On return; 'dad, the pizza there is way different . I could eat it everyday' lol. We have quite a few family run Italian restaurants/backeries in the GTA. Strong Italian influence here. I laughed out loud when I saw the pic of the front counter as it has the same sign as a local Italian shop near my office that i often have lunch at : 'CASH ONLY ' ...........LMFAO........fuckin crying.......'how to run a tax efficient business , The Italian Way '...@)

I know a couple of spots in Queens/Brooklyn Paisan locales and it's CASH only the Italian way, nothing wrong with that in my book particularly when the food is tasty and delicious.
