Detroit style pizza is an up and comer in the pizza wars. It's actually beginning to take off nationally. Detroit pizza is a cross between a typical NY style and a Chicago style pizza. Commonly referred to as a Sicilian style pizza. Louie's, Buddy's and Shields are staples in the Detroit area in terms of Sicilian style Pizza. Right up there or better than NY or Chicago style.

Prefer Chicago pizza over anywhere else................Iowa City has a wide range of excellent pizza joints with quality meats and cheese, lots of choices.

Love the pizza in Italy. Oven roasted and thin but a good take out pizza and very underrated is anything from Papa Murphy's.

But, if ever in Seattle, The Northlake Tavern has amazing pizza.

Got a place here that makes a good pizza, I'll get fresh mozz, pepperoni, mixed olives, basil, and green onions.

Best I've ever had is that famous spot in New Haven, CT - Don Pepe's (I think is the name)
