One other thing. If you look around enough in the internet you will always find one crazy fuck who will agree with your ideals, plus the information posted on the internet is not reliable. Give me a well known source, not some crazy website. What I need is a scientific article with scientific data, published in a respected magazine, not any random website in the internet with people´s opinion. Also, most medical articles that are more than 5 years old is considered out dated. You are quoting people back in 1990, but oh well, I guess Medicine hasn´t changed at all in 19 years.
Research on cancer is done worldwide, not only in the US. If this therapy is so wonderful, don´t you think other countries would have already researched and published convincing results many many years ago. Or I guess the US controls them too...
Dude, I can go on and on with you about this subject all day long. I´ve been to NIH, I´ve talked to people who work there, I´ve read their publications, this is a serious institution where pretty much all the scientists have is pride in what they do. This is their life, that is what they do, their heart and soul is into finding a cure.
I´ve seen chemo patients, yes they die. But a few survive that would´ve probably died if they hadn´t recieved treatment. Even if they don´t survive, that little extra time that chemo gives you is very much appreciated by some patients and their families.
And do you really believe that scientists involved in this would much rather make some money than save their loved ones? Cause yeah, cancer doesn´t affect their families and friends...
