Americans are too soft to do much about it, we aren't even allowed to have real recessions anymore so any hardship or shared sacrifice is out the window. I think we all pretty much agree on that.

So if you aren't allowed to take a step back to then take 2 forward, options are pretty limited. Is what it is.

Empires grow old and weak, just be happy standard of living in the US is extremely high for anyone w/ their shit together.

The tariffs are passed onto consumers.

We're going to be giving more of our money to things made it Indonesia and Bangladesh, so there will be sufficient retribution.

If we really need more than that, feel free to do more. Talking about how bad this is on therxforum is definitely another great way to make China pay for this.
