T. Vee, I know many will disagree, but I do not like it when rappers try and come off as super-conscious, righteous type, and I think Krs-1 is guilty of that all the time. I don't want anyone trying to "teach" me while i'm listening. He also has little love for new artists, and he comes off as a bitter, washed up old man, hating on successful young cats. Again, jmo, so don't hate me.

never seen the DVD, but met Ian Mackeye once. My friend used to do a real low-budget fanzine down here a long time ago, and he was able to interview him. He was cool.

yeah i agree KRS comes off as bitter old fat dude now but that was the joint at the time.

im used to the music with a message ( Clash, Fugazi, Marley, PE, RATM)stuff but i understand some dont like it. i prefer that stuff than listenin to all the talk about diamonds and crystal. most of these guys arent getting paid like they pretend they are.

i will also nominate Pauls Botique for being way ahead of the curve for production (Dust Bros)

I went to Fugazi's first show like way back in the day. It was a free show at a park in DC. I saw them play a bunch of times. Cool old school band.

Oldirty- what up DUNNY, lol..good list..blackstar album was very good, as well as 93 till....

Kingbill-if you like Dead Prez, you'll probably love immortal technique (if you don't already). I disagree with like 99.99% of what he says, but he's smart and has skills. Download the song "Bin Laden."

Deltron 30-30 is nice man. I have his first single on wax for Mr Dobilina. It had the sickest B side track called burnt which had him and the entire Hieroglyphics crew on it. The Hieroglyphics album was also tight.

You know Del is Ice Cubes cousin?

I love Def Juxs also...
