I made my statement in August, prior to anything but his stupid, Red Line Statement. Thankfully he didn't follow through on that idiocy because Putin saved his ass, no matter his motives. 7 Months later, I have no reason to regret my statement. No, we'll never know what might have happened. Thankfully. What we do know is that no American troops have died there. I feel very confident that would not have been the case if he had sent troops. We've seen what happens in the last decade plus, when America sends troops to fight in the Middle East. Nothing good for America.

The last time a President "walked the walk" we ended up in Iraq for 10 years. I'm fine with the President making threats and not backing it up with military action. We can work diplomatically with other countries to try to punish the Russian's in other ways rather than kill more American's. This is one of the reasons Obama was elected, he acts rationally.
